Hey gang...sorry for being incommunicado for awhile, but I'm headed to Indy later today to meet friends at MotoGP and The Mile Sat. nite. We may be staying at the place from the 1st year, not sure right now. Had 2 friends cancel at last minute; so I have 2 front row tix for The Mile avail for cost.And hope to meet up with everybody at IMS also. My cell is 312.246.6803-- Hope to catch up with you guys... So they cancelled the overtime for today and I woulda gone with you guys down to indy, but my bike decided to fail on me on the way into work on Wednesday. 18k on my 09 bolt and its getting its second motor. Arrrgh. First time it got a rebuild at 8k for a manufacturing problem with the crown nut for the cam drive gear on the end of the crank. Nut came loose and ground into the cam cover. Needed a new crank that time. Well the result of that incident is the complete failure that came about on Wednesday at 530am. Riding along 80/94 just about into Illinois when I hear a hickup and what sounds like something metal falling loose. I loose all power in the far left lane. Fun. Well in neutral it stalls. If I let the clutch out, a TON of rattling around from under my ass. When I get it over to the right shoulder, I see no oil. Well until I look around. Oil is seeping down from the head on the front cylinder pushrod tube cover. Yup. Guessing I had a custom intake/exhaust hole added to the head. Lol. Well she sits at calumet and I'm sure it will be a while soooo...... If I find an 1125r between that time, I will be adding one to my stable. Lol |

the few that went to Indy this past weekend for the MotoGP had a great time!! the weather was perfect [a little hot], saw a lot of bikes, people, racing, and we have some good stories too!

Fellow WCC'rs,
It's that time again, if you missed the techno overload on busted race motors, the updates from the dealer and club festivities, well. It's because you missed the meeting! Don't let that be your statement this month. Thursday Sept.2 at IL H/D 13th and Harlem in Berwyn, 7PM.
Hear of track day firsts, racing highlights, dealer report on the Open House and of course the MotoGP low down all of that and maybe some food too!

The Crew at the mile.
Second place, not too bad for a rookie.
Due to current work requirements I just can't stay up past 8p and be worth anything the next day, won't make it tonight. Weekends are once again clear though.
I have more photos to share, hopefully soon.
Let me know what is going on.
