Yep....Erik Buell Racing is getting it done...
the article and photo's were all posted on my favorite forum yesterday, as soon as the article came out.....
I suggested a raffle.....if 400 of us Drop $100 on ticket one of us can drive one home....haha....

I went for a short ride yesterday. I wanted to get the sea foam moving through the injectors and add new fuel. I also wanted to try out a new Nolan helmet and new jacket. All was well. It was enough of a taste to hold me off until our first early spring ride. Remember, that ride was March 26, not to many weeks to go. Maybe the weather will break and we can get an earlier ride going this year. |

Wow, what a great sight to see the real thing what Erik can create when unfettered by convention! The list of exotic components and the power that can rival the reknowned 1198! Be still my heart, bring back Eslick partnered with Geoff May and have Mike K as crew chief! Who Knows? Getting both bikes ready for this season, planning on a few more track days, hope to see more of everyone at our meetings.

Hi Curt,
I had a Scorpion Shock Jacket that I wore for the past year. During late fall, I noticed stitching pulling out at the nylon/leather interface on the elbows. I purchased the jacket from NewEnough and let them know about the problem. It has a 3 year warranty, so they said to send it back. I did and they sent a new one as a replacement. I love the jacket so I was happy with the end results. That is why I buy most riding gear from NewEnough.
My wife and I purchased 2 new N-103 Nolan Flip-up helmets at the show. It is my first venture away from a standard full face. It is a cool helmet since it has an internal flip down dark shield. My wife wanted something she can flip open for extra ventilation when stopped or for taking pictures. So far it seems to work fairly well but I need more time in the saddle with it.
Hopefully we can get out to ride this year. We missed your presence last year. |

Hey, any Homecoming attendees, I am going to book a room in Elkhart Lake sometime very soon. I will only be able to stay Friday night the 3rd of June. If anyone is interested in sharing for that night let me know. If anyone is planning on staying two nights and would be willing to share on Friday night book something and let me know. Thanks.

I usually stay at Victorian Village when I go up for the Porsche Club events. They will haggle on the price if you're persistent, but you'll have to book early. |

I reserved a room for Sharon and myself at the AmericInn and purchased weekend pass tickets for the race.
I hope to actually make this one. The 2009 homecoming is when I met the great folks of WCC but became sick that Saturday morning and could not make the race. Barring illness again, it should be a good time with nice people. I know Sharon had a good time and really enjoyed meeting everybody.

I will join as well for homecoming trip. I continue my travels to minneapolis every week and apologize for not being around. Took my uly out last weekend and we had a blast! 35k miles and still as fun as ever!
If anyone is looking for a hotel sharer for homecoming let me know.
My wife Sara and I did a starved rock ride in OCt 2010 and we passed Paul Dana and tim going the other way. See you soon as riding season is near. |
