Do any of you use an EZ Pass when you are on the toll road? Do you have it in a pocket or on a bracket on the bike?

not sure about the EZ Pass... but for the I-Pass [illinois/indiana] i don't even carry it with me anymore... all you need is for your bike to be registered to that device, when they read your license plate it will apply automatically.

That sounded pretty good. I looked on their website and found this:

Sometimes tolls do not post to your account at the time of the transaction. This is usually due to a missing, improperly mounted, or inactive transponder with a dead battery. These unsuccessful transactions are digitally recorded and your license plate is later matched to your I-PASS Account. The toll is then posted to your account at this later date. These digitally recorded tolls are called vTolls.

I have 2 motorcycles and 3 vehicles registered for my I-PASS. I hardly ever carry it when I travel through IL.

OK, I don't have any problem with I-pass but recently went into Indiana and had nothing but problems getting the toll lane to recognize that there was a bike in the lane. I had the I-pass in the same place as I did in IL but it wouldn't read it. This was a pain when the truck behind me got impatient with the idiot in front of him.
