I'm all for the death penalty. Kill 'em and let his family pay to bury him. If they refuse, dispose of the body in the cheapest way possible.

If you kill, you deserve to die. Very simple.

If you have commited a crime (admitted or multiple witnesses) you should loose the right for an attorney.

Did you steal? Pay back double of what you stole.

Did you inflict body harm? Pay for the hospital AND the man's loss of income.

Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth.

I understand there are many cases that remain unclear, even if there are witnesses. These should be treated as such and if doubt remains, not guilty, or lower punishment (never death penalty though).

But to give a clear example. Theo van Gogh was murdered. The guy shot him multiple times, stabbed him with a knife a few times and stood next to the man to see if he was dead. Multiple witnesses, clear case. He was caught fleeing and shooting around like a cowbow. Now that he is caught, we cannot call him a murderer. He is a suspect until the judge in court judges him guilty. I say kill the and get rid of him. Why does he need to go to prison? Don't you know that you and I pay for that? It pisses me off! Same thing with Pim Fortuin (politician). He got killed, clear case with witnesses etc. even on camera. He had to go through an extensive test at a specialized center to see if he was sane! OF COURSE THE BLOODY FOOL ISN'T SANE OR HE WOULDN'T HAVE KILLED THE MAN!!!! Kill him and cheaply dispose please. Not worthy of life in my not-so-humble opinion.

"If you kill, you deserve to die. Very simple. "

so what about soldiers or people who kill in self-defense?

"If you have commited a crime (admitted or multiple witnesses) you should loose the right for an attorney."
Are you high? what if I comitted assault on someone who was going to harm myself or a friend. What if YOU were in my country and got busted with an ounce of Humbolt? I bet your flop would flip pretty quickly, there, mr. lone justice

"Did you inflict body harm? Pay for the hospital AND the man's loss of income. "
No WAY- If some ashole knocks my buell over, takes a swing at me or one of my loved ones, I'm gonna f**k him up. no arguments, no discussion.
Let him pay his own bills. make him think before he pulls that sh*t again.
man- this takes me back to all the time i've spent in europe. always some eurofag talking trash
or stomping over my skiis with his, or violently pushing my wife out of the way in the liftline so he can cut ahead, who i bust in the mouth. the eurofag nancy-boys always go crying to the cops.

Oh Lord, now there will be a huge are you for or against the death penalty thread !! LOL

I'm against it, not saying they don't deserve to die but unless they are killed by those they committed the crime against, those imposing the death penalty I'd be afraid to have someone put to death judging them guilty myself !!

What reason would you give God for killing someone you "believed" to be guilty, unless it's self defense I have no intentions of being responsible for having someone put to death.

I think I'd be forgiven if I killed someone under extreme emotional distress, someone who harmed or tried to harm me or my kids !! But not if I calmly and rationaly thought someone deserved to die and then helped toward that goal !!

That's just me, I'm not against others doing it though !!

Tramp,

Do I need to explain every situation and exception to you?

Maybe I've shown myself to be really really dumb to you, but do you really think I would want soldiers or cops to be put to death when they kill? Then what should they do? Start calling them names? Geesh man, I sound that stupid to you?

And no, for civilians in self defense (or in case of an accident) I woudn't want someone to be put to death if the other gets killed. Re-read my examples. Both are cold blooded murders. That's the spirit of my post. Maybe you missed that?

If someone knocks my buell over INTENSIONALLY, he's gonna end up end up with a broken nose and pay for the damage, and I ain't paying for his nose either. If it's accidental (and show himself to be willing to pay for the damage), you must be pretty sick to beat someone up.

As I may sound stupid to you, it sounds to me your fists are bigger than your brain.

Eurofag huh? I call 'em spineless wimps although I'd like to exclude myself, strongly opposing the EU and the spineless masses who have proven to be brainless followers of those pencilpushers who think of rules to take away responsibility and accountability from the people.

Iggy, BABE! you state that "if you kill, you deserve to die. simple" then you tell me that you don't mean soldiers and now...cops.
What if you're neither a soldier nor a cop, but a guy who gets ratpacked by a bunch of street gangsters, and...ooops- ya kill one of 'em. maybe ya both have guns, maybe ya just gave him an nice shot to the throat. what about then?
yeah- you should explain yourself, 'specially when you suffix your point with "simple."
sounds like some back-peddlin, m'man! you tell me that's the spirit of your post, but it's NOT what ya said.
like i said, what if YOU got tagged with a jice bag of weed. No lawyer for ya, huh?
Now- you say that if someone knocks your buell over intentionally, you'll break his nose. Your words. That's a crime, it's called assault and battery. regardless of your right as a amn to kick some aas. Now, then- after committing said crime, you feel you should NOt have the right to an attorney? weird, man. You said it, not me.
I never said you sound stupid, and my fists (and my hands and feet and me johnson) are not big at all. I've never actually seen my brain, save for a few x-rays and MRIs, and I can't really tell ya if it's big or small. I know that size 7 3/4" hats are still snug on my poisonous melon, even when it's shorn, so my haid's purdy grande. Let me get back to you on brain size.
don't make blanket statements followed by "simple" until you've thought them out.

The point of being armed is to protect yourself, whether from an oppressive government or from the dope doin punk down the street who thinks a home invasion will be a thrill and hook him up with the cash for another hit besides; it's just a matter of circumstance.
It just cant be said any simplier or clearer,PERIOD!Inanimate objects,guns-knives-basballbats-axes-ect., dont kill people, people kill people.Firearms are the weapon of choice because they do the job quite well.I read something recently about in Australia, they helped the poor, uneducated civilians there and took all their firearms away so they, the civilians, would be safe-from themselves. The immediate response was violent crime,murders-robery-ect..,went up dramatically. The article stated that the Government was at a loss because the removal of firearms from the public was supposed to make the civilians safer. If you look at history, past and present, removal of firearms from the civilian population has NEVER protected the civilian population. If you make it criminal to have a firearm, then only criminals will have a firearm.
My suggestion to those of you who may not be able to use a firearm for protection if you had to,DONT CARRY ONE THEN,because if you ever pull it out,and dont use it,the one your pointing it to will! The world is full of choices,I choose to protect my family, myself, and my property,PERIOD.
Here in Kansas City, they just had 2 people randomly shot in the head.A black male carjacked a car at a gas station, shot a 27 year old woman, who was sitting in her own car,in the head,he drove away, shot a man driving down the road in his car,in the head, shot a house by the street full of holes, just missing the family and kids inside. He crashed his car into another car,got out and ran away.Never caught, vauge description. This all happened around 3 or so in the afternoon. If just 1 person in that gas station had been carrying a firearm, and known how to use it,and been willing to use it,the man would still be alive. The poor woman would probably still be dead, but he could have been stopped. Now a killer is still out there, probably going to kill again.I pray I will never be in that situation, but if I ever am,he will be stopped,if its in my power to do so.

Oke, it's not simple. You're right about that. And I must admit it's one of those posts I regret I ever posted. Not because I disagree with what I said, but because it's just too much to explain. I can't fit my thoughts into a message. The post captures the thought of that moment and was indeed impulsive. Not making excuses, nor am I backpeddling. Like I said, my original post was impulsive and incomplete. I'm not changing what I've said, I'm adding to it. And I have to, otherwise I can't make it clear to you.

You keep bringing up examples. I don't wanna answer those. I don't have to and I don't owe you. You seem to completely disregard my real world examples in my first post and see what I've said in the light of those. It seems to me I upset you in such a way you no longer seem interested in understanding what I'm really saying. You're examples testify of that. I answer one and you bring up another, the same thing but a different situation.

If it hadn't dawned on you yet, I'm talking high degree crimes like murder. Again, read the examples in my first post. That's got nothing to do with a felony like carrying weed. You bring up battery and assault. Do you consider it battery and assault if you wack some eurofag in the face if he voilently pushes your wife aside to go about his own business? I don't and I think we agree on that. So why is it you slam that on me for defending my property? A few years back someone got beat up very badly; reason? They thought he was ugly. He hadn't done anything wrong. He was just ugly. That's battery and assault. That's what I'm talking about. Disable him and you can work the rest of your life to support your own AND his family. Catch the spirit now Tramp?

I'm done.

Richie,

I'm flattered to have been quoted. I spent a lot of time formulating those posts to try and properly convey my thoughts on the matter. It's not always easy to do as we have just seen.

Good thread, interesting discussion, glad we're all getting along...

"LET'S be honest. He's scared of the thing. That's understandable--so am I. But as a girl I have the luxury of being able to admit it. I don't have to masquerade squeamishness as grand principle - in the interest of mankind, no less."

Aww Bruce.. Onto my soap box..

I know this kind of off topic.. But.. What about the fun and joy of firearm competition? The Olympics and what not? Plus there are other fun games that are carried out with firearms. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't advocate shooting anyone , unless there's a valid reason, but there is more to firearms then hunting and self defense.

I think I read somewhere about that teenage girl that took a gold medal in Atlanta for skeet (that's a shotgun sport). Not that the mainstream press wanted to talk to her or anything. I mean, who wants an attractive, well mannered, well spoken, straight 'A' student with tons of potential for her future, telling people how great it is to be able to compete and win and how shooting helped her discipline the rest of her life so she can succeed.. I mean, wouldn't we rather have the prima donna, brawling, multi-millionaire type, hawking products and being a first class &#$*@!! as our kids role models? As opposed to someone they could actually see as a peer and proof that you can succeed with the right effort?

OK, I'll put the box away now and go riding..

"Aww Bruce.. Onto my soap box"

Sorry I did not mean to short the sporting aspect of gun use (my brother is a long time competitor, tons of trophies etc).

I just meant that in a perfect world, there would not be a need to use as gun as a deterrent or for protection. But this is often the case and to deny this and support gun bans, is just plain silly IMHO.
