Reading John Ringo's zombie apocalypse series, which I recommend if you like honest and brutal version of the genre. I'm not a genre fan, consider most to be unrealistic. And I'm fine with Hobbits and magic.
What Ringo's take drives home, is you don't have enough ammo.
For reference, Ringo's zombies aren't supernatural, immortal, or dead. Live people infected with an engineered brain ruining virus, aggressive animals like rabid hungry monkeys. Feel free to draw comparisons to Pro-rape Terrorist Cosplayers.
You can kill them. They may react like angry drugged up mental patients and ignore pain, but not immortal monsters. Just monsters. Attracted to light and noise, because that means food. You.
The author realistically considered the numbers. Let's say I'm a suburban prepper. A year's supply of dried food, hundreds of gallons of bottled water, more guns than the local police station, and 10,000+ rounds for them.
In a city area of a million plus zombies still alive and swarming to the sound of gunfire. They swarm to a generator noise. A light showing in a blackout.
If written description of stepping on a rotting partly eaten body is upsetting to you, skip this series.
And it's got Heinlein style hyper competent heroes, a few plot holes, and a bias, politically, ( but a fairly sane one ) not for the squeamish. First book title. Under A Graveyard Sky. ( All his books are dedicated to fallen service heroes )
Anyway...
I'm reminded when I see a mob of mixed real terrorist wannabes and self serving cosplayers, I don't have enough ammo. Hypothetical scenario, of course, like them burning the book store my apartment is over.
I expect this summer to have lots of that.
I'm both too law abiding, sane, and cowardly to drive down to the campus and psycho killer a bunch of ignorant brainwashed kids. And I'm too smart to deliberately go near a "protest" which is obviously a planned revolutionary riot in waiting, sponsored by rich commies and CAIR.
But I can fantasize about spraying deer sex bait to attract horny bucks. |

For the record, I'm all for freeing the Palestinians from tyranny.
It's going to be hard. The tyrants hide behind civilians and teach Hate in preschool. The Big leaders have apartments in Qatar and Paris and London, with fat bank accounts of stolen charity.
And half a century of Soviet KGB support, plus the Iranian Mullahs and other toxic rich Arabs, gives Hamas, PLA,etc. a lot of resources hard to defeat, conventionally.
That's why the Liberation of Gaza is slow, the incredible care the IDF uses to minimize civilian casualties against an enemy that violates all international laws of war ( yes, an oxymoron ) and human rights. |

It is funny the article title says "Pro-Hamas Protests" but the picture they posted demonstrates the protest against the genocide.
Does this mean Hamas fights against the genocide Israel executes in Gaza? |

Hamas would kill all the Jews if they could. Israel could kill everyone in Gaza tomorrow, but they do not. See the difference? There is no genocide, so the anti-genocide protesters are simply pro-hamas and anti-Jewish. The genocide claim is simply cover to fool fools. |
