So basically if the mob is smashing the metal panels of your car the only thing you can legally do is to try to drive it slowly through the mob and find the way to escape. If the mob starts smashing the windows you can legally press the gas pedal and just drive over the mob and over the people on your way. How about motorcycles or open roof cars? Can you drive it through the mob immediately when the people start smashing your vehicle? Because when they start reaching your out on your motorcycle or on your open roof car you are basically f*ed up, your chances to escape go to zero immediately, you have no time to react or to defend yourself. Tpehak raises a good point, even if his synopsis of the video is a bit rudimentary. Don't try to ride through a crowd. You'll get dragged off and possibly beaten to death. Sure the murderers if ever caught will claim they were "just trying to teach you a lesson" which won't be a great comfort for your grieving families. Situational awareness. Always stop in traffic with enough room between your front tire and the car ahead to turn out of the flow. ( like if the car zooming up behind you missed the traffic stopping and is going to rear end the car in front of you... And you're a crunchy condiment in a bad sandwich ) Always. Every time. You're in deep if you don't pay attention and stop IN THE CROWD, so look ahead, observe, assess, and turn 90 degrees out of traffic if possible, Before the choke point. Then basically Run Away. Slowly, carefully. Save speed for if you have people Actually chasing you. Predators have a chase reflex. Violent mobs are at subhuman IQ levels ( take average IQ, divide by number of idiots in mob = Mob IQ ) but the agitators are not so dumbed down. They are by nature vicious beasts. If it's on a surface street, you have options. Sidewalks, pedestrian trails, the access roads behind stores and plazas, anything except into the mob. Slow, easy, carefully. If it's on a divided highway ( bridges are popular choke points for agitators ) turn around and ride the shoulder or lane split. Carefully, slowly, non threatening. It's a judgement call, but if you can't leave, you may be best off pulling over, parking, get on foot, keep on your helmet and riding armor. Go low profile, get your back to a wall, and try to wait it out. Rambo/John Wick fantasy stuff is contraindicated.  But if you just happen to carry a katana and have the training and skills of a Samurai, good luck, and keep moving through the arterial spray. You can't carry enough ammo to fight a zombie horde. And it's illegal to shoot up mobs in almost every State. Also see "you don't have enough ammo". I don't think I can ethically recommend using WP grenades for cover, but I've heard worse ideas.  | ||

Btw... The Federal driving course I took teaches you should stop so you can see the rear tires of the car in front of you. ( not just the bumper ) That's so you have room to turn without backing. Getting rear ended, either traffic accident squished or deliberate criminal attack, is the Reason to leave yourself the escape route. The first is generally more likely, but vehicle armed robbery is a real threat for many locations and jobs. As literally told me, "screw the diamonds or f#$%ing paper, stay alive". If you want Real fun, serious & challenging, taking an E&E course ( Bob Bondurant school ) is a bucket list item. For me, anyways, who's just done the VHS taped course for courier drivers. Better than any ride at Disneyland. | ||

Again, for me, the best defense against a mob is absence. I don't like big cities nor big crowds. A long time ago I didn't mind them so much and felt okayish in and around them, but not anymore. I also stay away from areas where I know I'm not wanted. Out of sight, out of mind, out of the target area. | ||

Have to admit they are very good at what they do. Evil, yes. But very smart and good at furthering their cause. Timing the protest to happen when Biden was not in residence was smart. Were it a MAGA crowd the SS and DC police would have outright killed some of the protesters, opened the gates, and had themselves another Jan. 3 event. Funny thing.... Hamas didnt kidnap me. Mostly because I was not in Israel anywhere close to Gaza... If USA Private Citizens want to go into dangerous places outside the USA, knowing they are dangerous, fine. But they shouldn't expect too much effort to save them when it hits the fan. If one believes God or whatever is calling them to go, great, go. But Uncle Sam shouldn't risk more American lives trying to save them is my opinion. Im not saying they deserve to be kidnapped or murdered. And Im not saying the US should do nothing. The terrorist should be killed. And killed before they launch terrorist attacks is best.
