http://www.infowars.com/methodist-churches-convert ing-to-virtual-mosques-for-muslim-migrants/

"an interim pastor began preaching Sufi Islamic parables in an attempt to “tenderize” the church to accept Islamification,"

RED ALERT. SHTF.

Edit; I guess my comments above don't exactly encourage intellectual conversation.

The Methodist church was responsible for spreading Christianity back in the 1700s and 1800s across the rugged frontier of the USA. Methodist circuit riders would log hundreds of miles in hostile territory, to teach and admonish groups of people in remote and rugged places. They were in many ways heros of the Christian faith in America.

Now, they're making a deal with the devil.

Now they're using their churches to support "refugees". Ok, if you want to minister to refugees, I'm fine with that.

However, if you, as a Christian, want to start preaching the qran and acting like it jives with the bible, I have a problem with that; it is corruption, it is confusion; it is intentionally leading people astray.

The qran is quite possibly the worst book you could choose to try to adapt to Christianity.

Mohammed wanted so badly to start his own religion, and he wanted to convert Jews and Christians, both of which knew he wasn't a prophet. So then he started integrating old testament into his book, except instead of the Hebrews being God's chosen people, he desperately wanted Arabs to be God's chosen people. He was desperately jealous of the jews.
Anyway, he took his favorite parts and mixed it with racism, sexism, violent conquest, lying, stealing, etc. The whole thing is absolutely corrupt and morally bankrupt. It contains dozens of basic scientific errors about the universe and earth, it's pretty transparent that it is NOT inspired word of God.

Viewer discretion advised:

One person gunning down another in cold-blood is typically considered just plain murder. If that individual is of certain political importance, perhaps it's an assassination. That the killer knew his target was being recorded for live broadcast would give this a fair categorization of "terrorism". YMMV

Couldn't make out what the gunman was screaming afterwords... Sounded like "aloha-snackbar" or something to that effect.

Continued reading:

I'm perusing another msg board at the moment, reading comments like: "My 'oh-shit' meter is off the charts". I feel dissimilar. Sure, Turkey is NATO but yet slipping into the far more non-secular side of things. Even if the hit was ordered by someone within the Turkish gov, it'd be nearly impossible to prove. As far as US alliance goes? IIRC, NATO agreements are largely non-binding in the event that one of it's members perpetrates an unprovoked attack. I genuinely feel that this is nothing more than isolated terrorism; a radical idealogue that's gone rogue. Putin won't flinch over an ambassador taken out by an afore-described mooslim, the man's veins are as icy as the baltic sea.

When Putin says he's going to crack down on terrorism, I hope he's going to include Iran in his efforts. Perhaps he'll stop selling air defense systems and nuclear reactor parts (dual use, of course...we're innocent!) to the worlds largest exporter of terrorism.

I saw this today.

I had been carrying a LCP or a G43.

Recently, I lost some weight and I'm still losing, so I posted about going fullsize.

My EDC has, as of about two months ago, been switched to a G19. In my opinion, it's damn near the perfect CCW. My fat ass can carry it appendix IWB. 15 rounds stock. It takes g17 mags that are 17 rounds and the g18 mags, which are 33 rounds (aka Happy Stick). I usually forget it's there, which is good and bad... I went to the court house for a title issue and forgot I was carrying it, until I hit the metal detector. Luckily, out in the country, the Sheriff is pretty cool

Torquehd, can you provide me more information about your EDC knife? I'm looking for EDC, fixed blade. The only self defense knife I'm familiar with is the 'grab and stab' (http://www.onesourcetactical.com/suarez-grabnstab. aspx#.WFhw_fkrKUk).

Mine is just a SOCP, military edition, a few years old. The sheath is designed to be tied into MOLLE webbing; nowadays the civilian versions - single edged, belt clip style are more readily available. They'd work just as well for the intended purpose but I don't like the belt clip sheaths.
I have carried a handful of fixed blades that I liked over the years but I usually have some gripes about them.
Somewhere in a box I have a great little Italian dagger that I could wear in uniform, but it looks huge and threatening when I'm walking around in civilian clothing.
I really like this knife:

https://www.knifecenter.com/item/SWHRT9B/smith-wes son-hrt-boot-knife-fixed-double-edge-blade-rubberi zed-handle
But, I don't like the sheath it's a "boot knife" which is not really a concept I'd ever use for the intended purpose. I never found a good orientation for carrying it out of kit.
And it's cheap price may drive some away. I'm surprised how cheap it is; I payed more when I bought mine 5 or 6 years ago.
The problem I have with most belt knives, besides bulk, is that they're usually slow to draw as they're usually retained with a button that has to be unsnapped. If you could scrap the button and integrate a couple neodymium magnets into the blade portion of the sheath, you'd have a good setup - that's what I did to my socp and it works amazingly well.

Another gripe I have about a lot of "tactical" or defense knives is the lack of a crossguard, or I find the finger profile to be not aggressive enough. When you're stabbing, you need definitive positive engagement to keep your fingers from sliding down onto the blade and getting cut.
I have NO complaints about my little SOCP; it's perfect for what it is. Low profile, easy to draw, no chance of slipping fingers.
Here's what I did so I can carry mine inverted, been running it every single day for 6 months like this, no issues. (perfect for quick draw)

I can't seem to find any for sale with the molle-style sheath; it's just kydex and I'm sure any local kydex shop (or dude with a convection oven and a rivet tool) could fab one up pretty quick.

yeah I checked it out; do you have one?
How does it sit on your belt? Have you tried stabbing and slashing with it?
I've never had to stab anyone (hope I never do), but knife attacking a tree gave me a new appreciation for what it would actually be like to stab or slash someone.

I haven't doing research, for a friend. I have done their FoF gunfighting and desert fighting classes. I'm apt to follow their indoctrination as the owner is a former gang unit member.

My issue is the grab'n'stab. I'm not convinced that most of us have that mentality..

If you've trained to fight, and you find yourself in a situation where you instantly realize that you will probably die unless you fight, then you go to your training. It's like performing a math problem on test day. But for the first time, you have a real reason to pass.

I have been surprised at the restrictions there are on knife carry. At a club gift exchange, I got a multitool and knife combo and the knife blade has a stud in it that you can use to open it one-handed and that is illegal in many places as a switchblade. I have read that NYC cops have been able to open ordinary lockback knives with a flick of the wrist, making them illegal. In the UK, lockback knives are flat banned.

Seriously? A knife with a stud or a knife you can open with one hand is a switchblade? Geesh. I have a benchmade I can open by lightly pressuring a stud mounted on the blade and giving it a good flick, which is really handy as I am often pulling it out to cut something with one hand while I am already holding it with the other.

Geesh. How stupid can we get.

I wouldn't be surprised if Putin was behind the whole thing. The Russians, being chess players, wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice a bishop in their quest to capture a king (putting a wedge between Turkey and the rest of NATO).

I have the same complaint about my Benchmade SOCP sheath. Retention?

Where I used to think I could just leave the SOCP in my hand while operating a 1911, I thought wrong. I'll stick to using a knife as a tool. And concentrate on situational awareness, deployment of main arm, and quick threat elimination.

While I wouldn't doubt Vladimir would have anyone murdered for an advantage, I don't see that he needs to sacrifice an ambassador to accelerate Turkey's path from the West. The current king there is doing so on his own with no need for a push.

As an excuse to invade Turkey? Don't see that either. Not many ethnic Russians there and the Turks are unlikely to be any fun to rule. Think Afghanistan with better education & weapons. And less tribal crap to divide them. No. Much better as an ally/ puppet.

Looks to me like what it seems. Terrorism. Aimed at a leader that may be as big a liar as Barry but is much better at military & covert ops. You can assume a bigger push in Syria by Moscow. More carpet bombing. More civilian casualties.

Ourdee why can't you utilize your socp with 1911?
I've tried it with my FNX, drawing from the concealed IWB holster, I
Poked myself a little the first time I tried. Just have to be more careful.
I like Ohio's idea. Hopefully it will go and more states will follow.

The alleged murderer is now suspect in multiple murders across Europe.

Apparently "recruited" in prison after being convicted of burning down a refugee center. ???????

Am I the last person on the planet who notices time's arrow?

Would Tunisia be considered part of Barry's Wars like Syria, Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Buffalo & Detroit?
