I fully expect to see some Dirt bike news.... Damnit, I want to believe.
Otherwise I go back to Kawi.

Too late for me. I've spent the last 3 months scouring ebay for pieces to try and get a piece of crap Craigslist Kawasaki KDX-200 back from the brink of the grave. Well, one foot in the grave. Actually, dead, buried, and cold to the touch.

After $500 in top end porting and boring, a replacement rear shock, a new piston, splitting cases, replacing seals, replacing transmission output shaft, new brake lines, new seat cover, new plastics, rejetting, new fork seals, new fork gaiters, new tires, replaced spokes, repainted frame, rewelded tail section, rewelded radiator mounts, rewelded water pump guard, new levers, unbent and repainted brake, footpegs, shifter, bars, and sidestand, new radiator guards, and cleaned bearings...

It's still a KDX-200 (though actually, it'll probably be a lot of fun)...

I blame Buell. Where's the dirty bike! The direct injection two stroke!

shhhhe dont you know? nobody thinks we actually will buy an American dirt bike.

And the AMA doesnt think that we should race it against the big 4. (why else would you change the rules?)

City I just looked at the AMA Pro rule book and I didn't see where Buell, H-D or whatever they want to call it can't race. I do know it was a proposal to replace the 450's with 350's but that hasn't taken effect. Yet?
