S&S?...I believe they're in Erik's neck of the woods (LaCrosse, Wisc)... also saw a pix of KC (Kevin Cameron) over there (S&S)... a not too big company that is quick on it's feet with innovation and a need to share in the success of a new project in a different area of motorcycling... |

I think E-B-R should consider working with S&S in spite of their working with Kevin Cameron. |

S&S is Harley, for all intents and purposes, imo They clone a Harley engine, soup it up a bit, polish it up a bit........ Would be a giant step backwards in my mind. Motus = American Motoguzzi. Never thought that engine design was appropriate for motorcycles. Puts the widest part of the V of the engine right between your knees might as well just put in a honda 1.8L vtech out of an accord..... (Message edited by sprintst on July 13, 2011) |

whose to say that S&S couldnt build an engine with DOHC and 4V per cylinder with a 12k redline or more...S&S has the finances and the equipment to do so...i remember an article a little while ago where S&S mentioned working with E-B-R and helping them in anyway that they could. Sounds Interesting... Jake |

Not saying they can't build it, any good machine shop could. Can they engineer it? Can they develop it? |

If Erik Buell Racing works with them with their engineers and collaborate with S&S's decades of experience....i bet they can develop something quite incredible. take what they know from the Helicon and make it better Jake |

It's true that S&S has done that, but that's not ALL they've done. They developed the X-Wedge engine from scratch with a completely different architecture and details than the Harley-based air-cooled V-twins. S&S obviously has some real engineering talent in-house. |

Back to the original subject. The value of 1125's may not increase if it halted the free fall in value that might be enough. |
