no real new info in that story that we all don't already know but it is nice to see it in the media. I will say it as I have said before I think the key to the future of Erik Buells future success is to stay in the media and investors will come.

>>> Every ABS system that I'm aware of, bikes or cars, looks like that found on the photo above.

You might as well also say that "every production sportbike that I'm aware of has a fuel tank between the frame and atop the engine", or "every production sportbike that I'm aware of has conventional front disk brake system", or "every production sportbike in the 100 HP class or above has at least a 55" wheelbase."

Just trying to make a point wrt Buell and convention. If there is an opportunity to do more with less, Erik and friends will exploit it.

Besides, how much could the disk possibly move side to side whilst being squeezed by the caliper? Especially in relation to the caliper, which is where the sensor would be.

seeing as how the buell brake system is different from all of the other brake systems I would expect the ABS version to be a bit different too.

The harmonic ring could easily be hub mounted, while the disk stays perimeter. The harmonic ring is nice and light.
