i'm currently looking for some taller bars that would make my ride more upright, rather than more moto, what kind of limitations can i expect, and what solutions are available to allow for higher bars? |

Huh? What bars do you have now? I didnt think anything could be more upright than the stock Blast bars!!! Anything taller than the stock bars and you're likely to run into cable and electrical length problems. Risers, although still suffering the same possible issues that taller bars might have, would simplify installation. That way you get more height, but didnt have to go through all the work of changing bars (but I think its 2-3 inches more tops, with risers). |

I have the stock bars, i just don't care for them much and was hoping to replace them with some nice cruiser bars, but not much more than a couple inches. I guess my initial post was a little vague, was really just wondering how much clearance i'd have with the wiring. Thanks again guys |

I dont think it was vague, I was just shocked! Unbolt the bars and lift them up to the desired height. That will give you a good idea of how much you can get away with as far as the wiring. |

oh great call man, I didn't even think of that...and you're right, the stock blast is pretty upright but I find that I'm just on the edge where the stock bars have me leaning slightly forward and my back starts to hurt after a while (advancing age does not help these things)I also just wanted an excuse to put on some black bars because I like them better anyway |

I saw some Z bars - looked nice - in the picture section - lol - gotta go wash my hands - lol - Blast cruisers - there are a few brave souls trying different ideas out, I think the Bobber guys are the most creative - Lee's Rat qualifies as a clean modern rendition of a bobber style bike. While being very sport oriented. EZ |
