BlastVader - the weekend corner carving toy: Black M-2 levors, stepped guides, Iridium plug (IXU01-27),45/150 jets, needle shimmed with 2 #6 brass machined washers - aprox. 0.05 and with a Dial A Jet added set at idle, airscrew 3 turns out, Custom LSR header mated to an S2 Supertrapp can using all 12 discs, Works 3-way adj. rear shock and front fork kit with 7.5 oil,Gold-valve Emulators, SS Braided lines, a torque stack M2 intake from American Sport Bike, and an Outer Wears Stack filter outerwears.com - the new part number is - " 12-1267-01 Black" & custom air flow splitter added to the stacks, Galfer Sinstered Brake Pads - FD112 - CF front, Andrew B-70 cam, head is Between stage 1 & 2 with Ti valves , CRG mini Barend mirrors,Crossroads Fork Brace & engine mounted rearsets(Crossroads/American Sport Bike), Buell tank bra, Acerbis Diamond Fairing, Kellerman front bar end signals and rear mini signals, now running Alum. bars-Telefix clip-ons(profi-type)- These adjust in 4-ways, Custom dash with Tach.,SS braided lines, Pirelli Diablo's 140/70-16rr and 110/70-16 fr sticky sweet!... StarKiller - the daily rider: My other ride is almost identical, except only the B50 cam,Silver Force exhaust custom mounted, Works front spring kit, 7.5 fork oil, Gold valve emulators, Works 3 way adjustable shock,Jota/Laverda bars customized to fit, Banke Rearsets with R1 pegs,all SSbraided lines carb jetted 48/180 and shimmed .05,Custom splitter mounted onto an American Sport Bike long Torque Stack, Yost Tube, Demon fairing with built in signals and Acerbis mounts, Mini-Spear signals in the rear, 3rd Eye barend mirrors,The above oversized Pirelli Diablo tires (bikes should come stock with these) all frames painted Black with Rustoleum - Vader - the origional, StarKiller the apprentice - lol - And Perhaps a XB9X in the future - Insideous in Blue and black or just Black! |
| Problems/Miles (Please be specific): | Smog canister fills up w/ water in old SF,ca. - 49 stated them. Holed piston due to a very hot plug and that darn rubber carb intake boot:0( - sooo I Nallinized ;0) - I got better!;0), Speedo housing breaks - replaced; Speedo sensor goes - replaced, primary cover gasket goes at the adjustment - replaced, replaced belt at 12,000 (not bad considering no guard, and easy to do), Main bearing on the Red spun = trashing trany aproaching 10,000 miles - new - replaced under extended warrentee. Front Isolator goes at 13,000 - replaced. Bub rear bracket breaks - welded, WB can cracks - welded. Regulator& Stator goes at 16,000+ miles - replaced. Regulator goes again at 22000. Drum goes - killing Vader at his prime - he shall be rebuilt, faster stronger and placed in an XB frame,swing arm and rear shock.

| Other Mods/Misc/Customization.: | Thats it! No other major mods till rebuild time;0) in general will pretty much wrap these bikes up as projects - any mods after this would be as nescessary(yeah right!) - lol ;0)

| Favorite Rides (Roads and Routes): | Hwy 1,35, 25, Wine Country, around Placerville, and around Lassen area. Mt Diablo is sweet! Almost anywhere in California has good roads - my job - to find them! - lol

| Why I do/don't ride a Buell: | The peace I find in riding is well worth the risk I take in riding;0)And the Buell Blast is definately Fun and American - two things I wholly suport!!!;0) - Simplicity is a beautiful thing!

| How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: | STEP THE VALVE GUIDES! More options for the Blast,tach., XB9 Stroke with the 4.175" cyl/pis. @ 10.5 comp. for 685cc of thumping madness in a XB9 City X rolling chasis - 44Kehin CV with an upstack to a stack filter/airbox, SE550 cam and 1.75 Ratio Rockers, Revolution Head - stage3, in Kickashe, with a Baker 6 speed! Now thats a begginner bike! eheheheheheheheheh.....I have seen the light! Amen Erik Buell!
