Yuppers, thats what I understand, or they'll tart up an existing Blast motor and sell that to you with the chassis as well - conveniently mounting it on the frame for ease of shipping - lol - they say they are willing to do complete bikes as well as an offering of options, still can't nail them on a price area - I'd love just to pick up the rolling chassis and go from there - but have other projects before that - lol EZ |

Now why didn't I get that email!? Still though, very cool to hear. A Mac sans-engine would be SO much fun to tinker with! Wonder what the cost would be...? ~SM |

Yeah - I have yet to get them to be specific in price, but the kit is the ticket - Harris designed frame, for starters, and the rest sounds good as well. EZ |

Yes - it is a pretty tidy piece of kit, they are even talking some heavy duty wired wheels as an option for the classic look minded, however, considering how good the rest of the suspension proposes to be, I'll stick to wheels made for maximum goat trail cornering fun! Of course with heavy duty wire wheels you could add knobbies for the British euro-look single. If it where me I'dd just add the 7" led light, and a Pugh visor in cf or black - depending on the finished look - nice rear control set ups - could be used on any Blast, maybe a sub-market as well? - of custom parts? You know the engine problem isn't that much of a problem. If Mac can show that the bike is a viable product as a kit bike with used engines. I'm sure they could get someone like S&S to run them off some engines with Baker 6 speeds. |
