Blake - it's time for you to man up and start spilling your own blood if you feel that you are faced with tyranny. You need to start refreshing that tree now. Otherwise, you can renounce your citizenship and move to Iran where you can hate homosexuals and let religion rule your government. Your choice.

Grumpy, I might add that you encourage those who say they are willing to go to war with you at your own peril.

Some of us are proud to be patriotic Americans, and others really should leave.
I guess the question is how and where should they go?

They don't deserve to be part of this amazing democracy.

"They don't deserve to be part of this amazing democracy."

They don't deserve to be part of this amazing Constitutional Republic.

Fixed it for you.

Of course, by fixing it, your statement is now false, because in a Constitutional Republic 'the others' are entitled to their opinions.

Just saying.

Some of us are proud to be patriotic Americans, and others really should leave.

That's a BS attitude, I'm sorry but saying If you don't agree with me then you can off just is pointless.

Just because others may not share your political or social points of view they may be just as patriotic as you, why should they leave? why not you?

You see it's a pointless argument.

Part of living in a "Free Country" is that everybody gets a voice & everybody has the right to be heard.

Of course if you don't like that you can always leave, but you can't tell others to.

Dave,

You may be too eager to take offense. None was intended. I don't use the euphemism "gay". "Homosexual" or "homo" for short are the accurate descriptives for the behavior.

Joe,

Your are revealing yourself as nothing but an in Intolerant hateful bigoted leftist fascist troll who refuses honest debate. It's tiresome and brainless.

Rebellion, should it come, would not be a one man show. Most of the Marines I know would not lift a finger against a fellow patriot. The childish view by some of the topical issue is unfortunate. It ruins the discussion.

Innes, I sure do appreciate your thoughtful contributions here.

I hope that things never get so bad that armed rebellion is justified, but if justice fails, rebellion may come. If rebellion does come, it won't be as simple-minded or as easily put down as some here imagine, and it absolutely won't be unanimously opposed by the military.

If the rebel states of 1861 had enjoyed the vast wealth, industry and means as they do today, the civil war would likely not have been fought.

If the Union of 1861 were as indebted and sinking as quickly into ever more unsustainable debt as it is now, it could not have fought the civil war.
