Well there's gotta be a few of us. Seems the love for HD here is almost as lacking as at ADV' site. Curious how many of us there are here.

I bought a Super Low 2 years ago because of the classic look and the relatively small size and the fun ride. It is a different fun from our XB9SX and Blast, but I can't get my wife to ride it because it says Harley on it. Telling her that her Blast is a Harley doesn't work.

Own quite a few Harleys, but only go around the block now and then since I got my first Buell 8 years ago.

I still have an 86 sportster drag bike. If I want to go racing that's what I have don't have the money for a different race bike.

I'm looking for a road king to compliment my Buell. I don't share the animosity towards the MoCo as a lot of others on this site. There are good and bad within HD. If everyone stopped doing business with every company that had as for a CEO, there wouldn't be a whole lot of commerce going on -

I know there is no going back ' but I wonder if Wandell or whatever his name is would make the same decision now as he made then.

I just noticed this thread. '08 1125R, my assorted RSs plus an '09 V-Rod Muscle. Ditto Kilroy: I'm not about to purge my garage due to the acts of one person.

The Buells have a higher grin factor for me, but the V-Rod gets more comments for some reason.

I own a 95 Sportster with an S&S 89" Stroker kit installed. 96hp, 101tq.

I also own a 2000 S3T I bought so I could rebuild the Sporty.

Since the engine is mostly done (still need some new valves and carb to keep up with the engine), I will be concentrating on improving the suspension and clean up some of the lines on this bike. Once the Sporty is done I am toying with the idea of an NHRS kit for the Buell.

2003 fatboy nice mods, 2009 streetglide, great two up touring, 98 S1W.... Outstanding street fighter, 99x1 custom fairing, 2002 s3T.... If any of the buells get stolen or wrecked they will get replaced with exactly the same Buell !! If either Harley gets stolen..... So be it!!! Buell wanted to sell motorcycles .... Harley sells bikes so they can sell you tshirts, great swag business, terrible motorcycle shop and even worse service!!!!

Currently the garage has 3.2 Buells in it (95 S2, 98 S3, 00 S3T, and a custom frame project) and a '49 Panhead resto-custom project that is complete other than paint. I will likely end up selling the Pan after I finish her and show her for a year, but it was enjoyable putting it up.

I'd own one if I could afford one.
I ain't saying they're soooo expensive, at the moment I couldn't afford a push bike...

I started on a 1990 Harley Davidson FLHS and then got my Buell S3T in March 1998 right after H-D bought out Eric. The Harleys are gone but I couldn't kill the Buell so it stays.

Hi Guys, i'm new to your website but i would just like to say that i own a fully trick'd out 2008 Rocker and recently bought a 1125R to fill in the gap. i love both the bikes and feel it was a shame for H-D to distance themselves from a great legacy like Buell

Just bought an '06 Uly with cases to compliment my 2012 Road King standard. Had an '98 Road King standard, then a 2000 Road King standard (when the Twin Cam 88 came out) that I had for 8 years. Loved it, but wanted something new. Sold that for a new '07 custom Fat Boy that I rode for 4 years, then missed the lockable hard bag storage on the Road King so much that I sold the '07 Fat Boy and went back to a new 2012 Road King standard. Love it!!!

I'm 6'5" tall (barefoot) so looking forward to riding the tall Uly (mine came with a short seat but I'm putting the tall stock/OEM seat that came with it back on) to see whether the better Uly ergo's for tall people will make my riding experience when I ride it occasionally more pleasant. If I like it more, I may have to make a tough decision (maybe not--I bought this Uly at a very reasonable price).

I have an X1, Uly and a HD Dyna Glide. Love riding them all for different reasons. The Dyna is a blast to ride, not the fastest and the brakes kinda suck but fun non the less. Why only ride one type? Just enjoy two wheels.

we have both and love them all. they each have a different personality. xb12sst, xb12ss, 883R (1200 now) and Standard Sporty (1200). The HD's are on the west coast and the Buells we keep in SC. Fun having both styles!

Approaching 100k miles on my Y2K Road king. Love to take the '99 S3 out for local rides but it only has 6k miles on it for a reason. 2 different animals neither of which I can imagine ever living without!

I've been riding HD's since the early 80's- Shovels, FXR, Sportster, Softails, and Touring. The last 10 years or so have been on Roadglides. My current Harley is an '11 Roadglide Ultra. I always admired Buell's performance and engineering, but it remained a casual interest until the Uly came out. I still didn't make the leap however, by then my wife was riding her own bike also, and the garage was always full while the wallet was empty....

Fast forward a few more years, and the kids are grown and gone, the wife developed some issues that made it hard for her to ride on her own, and a great deal came along on an '09 Uly last year.

The last year has been the most fun riding in a long time. The Harley rarely leaves the garage, the Uly gets most of my saddle time lately. I'll always have an HD, but I have a feeling that there will always be a Buell (or two)in the garage as well. Come on AX.........

An 08 Electraglide, 2 1125's, and an RS. Despite the fun of riding a sportbike, I can't throw three days worth of clothes, two extra gallons of gas, a six pack of beer and snacks, and my grandson on the back of my Buell.

I've an 08 Uly and an 04 Road Glide. I enjoy riding both, in June I rode the Glide all across Europe to the 110 th in Rome, doubt I'd have survived the first day on the Uly.

Wife bought an '11 Fat Boy Lo for our 20th wedding aniv. a couple years ago.

we've enjoyed over 15,000 slow, smooth, trouble-free miles on it since. i've also needed to buy several sets of tires for the Ss in the same time period.

the XB is for me, the FB is for us.

Own an XB12R and am building an XR750 street tracker (genuine XR750 engine, not Sportster based). Don't really consider either to be Harley, though!

Sorry to break it to some of you, but most of your Buells ARE Harleys...they were built by a subdivision.

Claiming otherwise is like denying your Jeep is MOPAR.

Lol, you could call them Harley products too.

Though it doesn't take much to see those examples are a tad more different.

I mean Buells were also motorcycles, and mostly used a unitized XL motor, and a number of other Harley parts (pulley, belt, etc.).
