Maybe going for that board-tracker look. No brakes front or rear. Yikes!

Final drive comes off the same side as the primary drive. Speedway bikes don't run a transmission just a jackshaft.

EZ, too bad the Mac will never see the light of day. Not with a Blast powerplant, anyway.

You don't keep up - do you? - lol - Mac is still to continue with the Blast engine they figure they can still buy engines retail and used, maybe get a discount from a dealer - doesn't matter, they are sticking with the Blast motor - per their decision - I was happily surprised by that latest letter to know, and they are going on with production, with Mr. Harris designing the frame - and the cool parts used - wow - what a face lift - a geared up Blast motor could make that a great piece of fun on two wheels - and a few after market parts to personalize - a great bike to enjoy! They are deep in it, shouldn't be to long till their proto-type is running, and then they send the motor to a builder for massaging - lol - someone should bring up JTS to them - lol

last update I got from them was this:

We have now heard formally from the 'Top Brass' at Harley-Davidson / Buell
that we cannot buy new Buell Blast motors from them. They took our request
very seriously and treated us professionally and we wish them well for the
future of their company but this means we're going to have to re-think the
way we can build more than one Mac motorcycle
, we would welcome your
thoughts on how you think we could do this.

The suped-up second-hand engine they're using is for the prototype only.

But all this was from february. I haven't gotten any more emails from them since, so I dunno what's up currently.

It would be cool if they sold it as a kit designed to use a stock Blast as a donor.

Dear Ed

we know it's been a while since we last gave you an update and we're sorry
for the 'radio silence' but we are keen to let you know how we've been
getting on with the Mac 'Spud' prototype. We are progressing quickly now and
it looks like we'll be riding and testing the 'Frankenstein' prototype soon
after Christmas. We'll probably take Christmas Day off but skive (English
slang for the practice of avoiding responsibilities because you want to do
something more fun) the washing-up and sneak-off to the workshop when the
family's dozing on the sofa.

We'll soon to have to start making some major decisions about producing the
motorbikes and getting them to you. As always, we'd ask you, our loyal
supporters, to give us your thoughts. We think we have a couple of options
for you but we would like to know what you think ;

1. We can build a complete bike for you, to your own specification, using a
rebuilt Buell 'Blast' motor.

2. We can produce and supply a kit / rolling-chassis to your own
specification with everything but the motor.

Price will be influenced by the way you'd like us to build your Mac, the
final specification and the cost of shipping your motorbike to you.

In spite of being a bit behind our ambitious schedule, our enthusiasm hasn't
waned one bit and if you have a few moments, you could take a look at our
blog, where you'll see all the latest photos of the 'Frankenstein Spud' ;

More soon, we promise and, in the meantime, we really hope you'll share your
thoughts with us.

Best regards
