Windscreens are $60 new from the dealer. I dont have a part # for the burnt orange but they do seem to come up cheap on e-bay (Black is most popular-so other colours go cheaper).
See if the back of your windsreen has a part #, something like M1600.??? Maybe someone has a 2003 parts book with the number.
Check the dealer sponsors here if you want to mail order.

Hey everyone. I have a Blast low seat in perfect condition, but I'm a little too tall for it. I'd like to trade someone for a high one, or sell it so I can buy a new one.

Some dealership in Pooler GA has evidently taken a black 2003 completely apart and is selling all the pieces on ebay. Check it out.

eBay frequently has both high and low seats. I've seen them mis-labeled, so check the picture. The low seat will have a slender nose, the standard (high) seat will have 'wings' on each side of the nose. The last one I saw sold for well over retail, so be careful about getting caught up in a bidding frenzy.

No kidding about the bidding frenzy! The last few high seats I've seen went for more than retail, almost enough to make me buy several from the dealership and turn a little profit.

Blast parts for sale:

New in package front axle cover kit, P/N 43625-01Y. Removed from package so wife could see one on the bike (she didn't like)
$10.00 + shipping

Billet-4-race aluminum speedo/tach mount. Used for one season but wouldn't work with Crossroads bars when we switched. Great shape with rubber gaskets, billet-4-race supplied metal speedo retaining bracket, and stock Blast speedo cup cut down to retain and provide weather protection for speedo.
$35.00 + shipping

Thanks

Tom K.

Are the axle covers chrome, or the aluminum ones similar to the covers for tubers ? I may be interested in them for my wife's Blast.

Also will a tach come with the aluminum mount or is that just for the mount. Either way, how much for both shipped to 53221 ?

The axle covers are black. I looked for a picture on the Buell website but they aren't listed any more. There is no tach, just what is listed above.

I will get the stuff weighed on Monday to see what it will cost to ship.

About 1/3 - 1/2 the price of new, more or less depending on condition and e-bay fever. Black is the premium colour, others usually go for less or not at all sometimes!
New Prices about:
Tank panel $220
Fender $65
Flyscreen $60
Tail $90
I've seen stuff go for pennies and other stuff go for more than NEW !

MGPT-

I MIGHT know someone interested in those purple plastics. My better half recently discovered that you can get motorcycles in colors other than black....

This item needs a little background story:

I have a bracket to mount a Firebolt fairing to Blast FORKS. We farmed the job of building mounts on the FRAME of my wifes Blast out to a local fabricator/motorcyclist and this is what I got back. It is a high quality powdercoated (it really is silver powdercoating, not paint) piece, but I didn't want all of that stuff hanging from the forks. He claimed that there was no way to make frame mounts and that was all he could come up with. Long story short is I'd like to recoup some of my money. I thought the bike steered heavily with all of that stuff mounted, others that rode it stock and modified said they didn't notice a difference in handling. It might be just what you are looking for, and the bike did look killer with the Bolt fairing it on.

$25.00 + shipping

Thanks

I'm still planning on making a custom rearset... set... but I'm going to go back to stock first. My father-in-law laid my blast down and ruined the left side peg, peg bracket, and the shift lever. I've found a set of peg brackets on ebay cheap, but I need a stock shift lever. If you know of anyone with that stock part lying idle, I'd be willing to buy it. Also, the headlight assembly and flyscreen bracket are all shot too. Any leads there would be great!

Thanks for the help!

Dirk

Orlando Harley says they have a Blast fork brace for sale at their 40% off sale tomorrow only!! Sorry for the short notice, but I just found out today.
Don't know what the price or brand is, but I know they don't want it around since they no longer sell Buell.
