Problems/Miles (Please be specific): | M2 - Bore for the main seal is to big and seal always lets loose ... only cure is splitting case, re-boring and sleeving .. this came this way from the factory - I bought the bike with 1700 miles and am 2nd owner and so it was too late to be covered ... S1 - Waaay, waay too many to list here ... spent the first 4 months of ownership fixing sh!t .. and it doesn't stop - main crank seal showed itself after a session at Road America .. and 4 months after the XB top end and Xb9 pistons, the crank let loose ... |
Other Mods/Misc/Customization.: | M2 - X1 chin spoiler, S3 front fender, SS front brake line, billet front sprocket cover, carbon fiber look turns, Storz steering damper, 2 gauge billet dash plate w/tach, reworked taillight section, American Sport Bike carbon fiber rear hugger, garage opener wired to passing light switch/high beam, billet catch can-breather filter, pegasus head bolt, clutch, axle, and timing covers, Corbin Gunfighter & Lady seat, X1 fork setup with black powdercoated trees, X1 Milennium spring loaded pegs, PM wheels, EBC rotors, billet rear sprocket, misc bits of billet overkill. For touring/or long rides with gear - Buell tail, tank and saddelbags, and a ventura rack. S1 - Stay tuned ... bike is getting rebuilt, from ground up ... lots of goodies going into this rebuild ...
