Thats really cool!!!

Once in a while, I'll see some General Lee's on trailers. Some are really built. Big motors, rear axles and breaks.

Movie cars. There always filming near where I live.

Bah. I still see Boss Hog in the Boar's Nest every Saturday.

I run into Luke Duke at the Y sometimes.

Really.

He's a hack basket ball player. Fouls a lot.

Don't I wish!

She's still hot!

Once when I was 10, I ran into Dolly Pardon and Kenny Rogers.

Dolly made the biggest developmental impression. I was just the right height. : D

The real question is "Did you guys have Dukefest 2007 in YOUR back yard?"

Daisy, Bo, Luke and the gang were all here. I saw no less than 20 General Lee cars on the interstates heading to the event.

We were riding in East Tennessee in a group that was "spirited". We came around a corner and all locked it up.

It was friggin' Enos heading to Dukefest. Full uniform and all just waiving and grinning like a loon!

nice collection, though the uncle jesse truck is too nice...his truck had the plain steel wheels and no chrome trim on the side, maybe that is suppose to be the Bo and Luke upgrades...

on the same note, i took my son to "Cooters place" in Gatlinburg,TN last week while we were on vacation to see the General, one of the police cars and Cooter's wrecker, tons and tons of memorabilia and neat things inside too. too bad we don't have any shows like that anymore, that the whole family could watch and enjoy and the worse things they would say were dipstick or jacka$$...and Daisy's shorts were as racy as it got.

I see some guy driving around in the Blues Brothers police car about twice a year. I don't know if its a movie car or if he's just a huge fan. The car has bullet holes and every thing.

That's awesome. There are a General Lee and a Hazard County cop car around here. I'd love to own a General Lee one day, but muscle cars go for outrageous money now! : (

anyone see the "Rides" episode where Kenny Wayne Shepard was having "Xtreme Lee" built?

It's a MONSTER hemi powered semi modernized General Lee. Modern Suspension etc.

The only thing I didn't care for was the paint...the airbrush artist's work was a little sub-standard, and the changes to
the original paint design just didn't work for me.

Except for the paint it was exactly what I'd love to be able to build.

I've been wanting to build myself one of the old 68-70 2 seat AMXs. Put a modern independent rear suspension under
it, a punched out 401 with a sequential twin turbo set-up, the widest, stickiest tires I could stick underneath, frame
connectors/tube front end and a serious competition grade roll cage (with door drop-outs) leather interior and to top
it off a bit of Chip Foose magic on the outside...tuck in the bumpers a bit, and of course a Foose paint job.

Too bad I can't afford to do it.

BTW why do we need a show like "payback" where stars (who could easily afford to do it out of pocket) are giving
customized cars (subsidized by the show of course) to people the stars think deserve it?
