Funny, I have a framed hand drawn picture of a Ss in Erik's office waiting for his John Hanckock. He didn't charge me a dime. Would it make the picture more valuable, doubtfull, but it's cool to me. 500.00 for a signed windscreen is a little ridiculous. |

I have a VERY rare Buell autographed clock in my office. It was one of only 2 or 3 made by somebody at the factory. They are actual Buell tanks that didn't pass the leak test. The fuel cap area was replaced with a clock. I won it at the 2000 (or was it 2001?) homecoming. Value: Priceless |

I have a very rare, limited edition BadWeB on tour, Newfoundland 04, baseball cap, signed by Mr B. What's it worth? not much now, but a whole lot more when he's dead! Just kiddin ok, don't start givin me a hard time, hell if he wants one of those hats, I've got a spare I think, he only has to ask. (I might consider a swap for a signed XB12TT) am I being optimistic? Bad taste humour isn't a crime. (but I'll be screwed if he croaks tomorrow) |

I'm absolutely baffled by the trend of spending a ton of cash on something simply because it has ANYONE'S signature on it. I mean, if you actually met Mr. or Ms. Famous Person, and you had a measure of respect or admiration for them and were able to get their autograph, then, yeah, I can see it meaning something, to YOU. Hawking something for a profit on that basis, whatever. A buddy of mine nailed it down a while ago. He's always been a huge Edmonton Oilers fan, and a Wayne Gretzky fan. A while back he met Gretzky and had a long, laid back conversation with the guy, and remembered at the last minute that he had a copy of Gretzky's book out in his truck. Well, the Great One told him to go and get it so that he could sign it for him. Buddy gets the book and asks Wayne to sign it "To Zeke, The loudest Oiler fan ever." Gretzky looks at him and says, "You won't get much on Ebay if I sign it like that!" Zeke replies, "Why the HELL would I ever sell it?" |

Too Cool! I sent Gretzky and Howe card to sign Gretzky signed it and returned it and so did Howe. Howe even personalized it, they both sit on my dresser sandwiched between 3 inches of plexi glass. |

Hey, Spidey, there's this totally old school Chinese restaurant a block away from here that's got an autographed pic of Gordie behind the till. He was passing through town one day, stopped for a bite, and left the picture only because one of the old gals that works there recognized him! Lots of hockey history around here, though. There are plenty of NHL players who played junior here, or moved here after they retired; I just saw former Ranger and Oakland Seal Earl Ingarfield at Safeway last night, he's a great guy and my mom worked at his hotel for years. Another former Ranger, Vic Stasiuk, lives a few blocks away. One of the coolest places around is actually this quiet little cul-de-sac that is the perfect place to play street hockey, and over the years, guys who went on to the NHL that played street hockey there include Lanny McDonald, Bryan Trottier, and probably a dozen others. I take it you are a Wings fan, too? Does your Michigan bias also include Iggy and the Stooges, The MC5, and Ted Nugent? I dont know what the hell it is about those guys, but they are still freaking HUGE around here, even among people who weren't even born back when those acts were making their mark. God, I came home from work the other day and my daughter was playing "Cat Scratch Fever" so freaking loud I could hear it a block away!!!!!! |

Back in 2003 at the 20th Anniversary my S1's windscreen is signed and now covered in clear vinyl. Sell it - Hell NO.......... However, My most prized possession is the 20th Anniversary Poster that was signed by almost everyone at the dinner I attended. Signatures include, Erik, Henry Duga, Spidey, BadS1, Crusty, and many many others. I had it professionally mounted and it used to sit in my office, now its in my recroom. |

Wow.... I have several signatures over the almost 9 years of being around Buell's. I guess I should dig them all up. I'm sitting on a few thousand for sure.LOL Really.... they all have a memory of event's over the years and they don't just remind me of Erik. They remind me of friends and people met. |

People are such Jack a...'s. Ebay has made people such money grubbing scumbags. I work with a guy that received an valuable from a now dead old Cleveland Brown Player. He turned around an immediately ebayed it......Unbelievable. The guy signed the autograph because he believed you were a fan and would treasure it not try to turn a profit. The jerks who ebay the buell giveaway stuff, I still cannot believe it. That idiot with the messenger bag and pucks needs a swift kick in the butt. The people at Stone Mountain have to be pissed. It is free, let someone who will use it have it, and not try to make a dime on it. Opps sorry venting. I am done. |

Hey Lake, I can tell ya exactly who made that tank and He's a BadWebber to boot. I owned one as well. I sold it because I didn't have spot for it at that time and I didn't want it Damaged. But I know where I can go to have one made if I beg him to do it. |

Umm ... you mean I can't sell my signed M2 with a photo of him signing it and shaking my hand for $15,000 ?!?!?!? Damn .. and I thought my financial worries were over ! I honestly don't understand people ... I actually scolded an e-bayer for selling the free sling bag and hat for a buy-it-now of $55.00 - came across the auction on the windscreen before I saw it here and was going to scold that person too .... too bad the auction is over ... |
