Got an unusual sandwich that really hits the spot? Gut bombs, culinary masterpiece, family idea... Heres my contribution:

"Da Bitchin Fat Camaro"

9" French bread sandwich roll.
2 1/4lb bratwursts(sliced lengthwise)
1 Whole giant dill pickle chopped into 1/2" chunks
1/2 Diced white onion (Raw)
Shredded cheddar
semi cooked Bacon(close but not quite there)
1 can of Hormel chili

-Deep fry the bread so the outside is crunchy and the inside is soft and steamy. Then slice like a hotdog bun.
-Thickly coat the inside of the roll with the chili
-Wrap each half of the Brats with the semi cooked bacon. Place brat halves in chili bathed bun.
-Scatter onions and pickle over top.
-Place on cookie sheet in oven set to broil, cook till bacon looks done.
-Remove and cover with shredded cheddar
-Replace in oven til all cheese has melted

Best with a combination of cayenne pepper and seasalt.

Not technically a samich, but it is a gut bomb. The Clayton Burger
Onion Roll Buns
2 1/3 lb patties
Cheese Jack/swiss/Chedder
Sliced Polish Dog
Grilled onions
A fried egg
Bacon
And for the win, topped with Chili and served with a pound of fries.
If you complete it, your next one was free.
Guaranteed to make you fall off the diet wagon.

Thinly sliced roast beef w' melted mozzarella

Put it all together, and keep a cardiologist on speed dial.

You didn't say it had to be healthy..

Any sandwich as long as it's smothered in more jalapenos than the law should allow.

I am quite partial to a classic Monte Cristo, with a side of strawberry jam and cream.

My arteries are wincing just thinking about it.

Speaking of jalapenos, there is an italian place by me with a sandwich called the "Big Cheef" (not sure why the misspelling). Italian bread filled with sliced italian beef, topped with jalapenos and mozzarella and toasted. Mmmmmm.

Just an old fashion Meatball and pepper sangwitch for me.

My second favorite is a Linguica and pepper sangwitch washed down with an ice cold Narry!

My sister and I - as little kids - used to sneak into the hospital behind our house and head to the Nurses station for our now classic favorite - peanut butter, onion, and ketchup sandwich on lightly toasted white bread - yum!

I barely made it back to Ohio before I had to stop at a roadside "House of Charmin" after our last visit to Telway. Those were some fine burgers.

"Philly's" is expensive and the sammiches are small but holy smokes are they good. It's on the east side of the street on Washington Ave. between 4th and 7th somewhere.

When I was a kid and my mom wasn't around, my Dad would make us peanut-butter and jelly with chocolate chips. It's best on Wonder Bread. It's a favorite with my kids now too.
