I have a 2K X1, currently w/ 12 discs. What will adding more discs ( say 6 ) do?

12 discs is not enough. More discs will make it louder but also give you more horsepower and torque. Go the Nallin website [www.nrhsperformance.com/tech.shtml],click on tech tips. There's an article on numbers of SuperTrapp discs with dyno results. According to the report optimum number is about 21 or so. Of course you need the proper carb or injector setup, cams and ignition systems to get this maximum HP.

I run 20. It's obnoxious, but I run 20.

21 is great for my bike and it is definitely not louder than the force pipe that was on the bike.

listen to sleez, he told me what to do to set up the pipe of which having the open race cap on the end made the bike run better.

Guess I need to start tuning...right now I have a thunderstorm setup in the S2, 12 discs and no end cap. Sounds cool, but if there's more power to be had relatively cheaply.... ;)
