Well, sent my forks to Race Tech to get them revalved and set up for racing. Unfortunately, they said that the cartridges looked like they were hit with a hammer. The price went to $960 to make them race ready. I passed. My question is this, what are my options? Can the Ducati 848 with top and lower triples fit? Ohlins anyone? Ugh... Thanks for the help, JP |

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SHOWA-Buell-USD-S3-X1-fron t-forks-1997-2002-14-13-/281603490319 I think any tuber forks from 97-02 will fit. I bought a new set of X1 forks for $300 a couple of years ago from a HD dealer's ebay store . The set linked above includes the trees, but are not new. Here's a new set. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buell-X1-Lightning-Forks-P air-NEW-46095-99Y-46096-99Y-U7A-/391096899968?fits =Make%3ABuell%7CSubmodel%3AX1&hash=item5b0f311980& vxp=mtr |

I've got a set of 2000 S3 Showa forks for sale. Looking for $250. Shipped in the us. They look good, but I'd do seals just because of the age. Kevin |

Thanks for all the help and guidance. I'm trying a front end swap. Won't say what it is right now because I don't know if it will work. Top Secret. haha |
