If there were a way to get some parts made for a tuber that are not available anymore what would you want made?

Example: manta and s1 gas tanks made in aluminum or steel as direct replacement for the originals. How about an aluminum gas cap part to replace the crap plastic that wallows out?

What does the badweb group think?

Somebody has already made the gas cap piece,

I'd say a replacement affordable gas tank would make you famous on this forum!

And +1^ bring back the dual brake set up and a conversion bracket to accept better rear break assembly

the '01 x1 shifter assembly. I put rear sets on mine years ago. Getting older and want to go back to stock. Plus the rear set boomerang shifter has lots of side slop even with the brass bushings.

http://www.holtworks.co.uk/contents/en-uk/d51.html These people have put a lot of effort into making aluminium fuell tanks and are now sorting full body kits to match. to make them cheaper in steel would be nice , but just as much work in my mind so costs would be up. There`s a guy making billet front engine mounts and loads of stuff to make the bikes feel and run better. Good on them, they wont get rich from it. I`ve made rear light hangers from ali , stainless flyscreen mounts, just wish I had a lathe.

Race exhaust, both early and late styles.
Front isolator with the correct sized bushing.
Color impregnated manta tanks.

I don't have an example of the bracket, I think it's something you'll have to design, pick a favorite, proper cyl sized rear brake, and make a carrier for it.
