I guess that's interesting if "interesting" now means retarded. That frame is a travesty compared to a Buell. The Blast has a better functional design than that frame. I'm not even a motorcycle designer and I'm ashamed for whoever thought that frame was a good idea.

What keeps the rear wheel, swingarm and engine from twisting under that frame? It has one heim joint at the top and two rubber joints at the swingarm and steering head. It's just awful.

I can't believe Buells will be sacrificed to use that turd of a chassis.

That particular version of the old "take a Buell, throw away the best part and slap the remaining Harley bits into an inferior frame" tune has been around for quite a while.

Scrapping an olde Buell for the engine is like scrapping a Jag XKE for the electrical system.

Ok, this makes me the bad guy here, I kinda like it... HOWEVER...... I can't figure out where it will get the required rigidity out of that frame design.... There just aren't enough attach points to gain the "stressed member" approach..... But what do I know, I'm not an engineer.... Maybe there is more to it and they have computer modeled it and got it sorted perfectly??

Couldn't imagine taking a perfectly good running XB and doing that though...

I don't even know how to spell XB - but it wouldn't have to be a perfectly good one. There is no shortage of crashed ones...
