S2T bars are the other method...2" taller. Those bars and Knight Design dropped pegs make all the difference in my comfort level.

Do you know which bars you have?
There were three different heights of bars. If you have a set of the early (lowest of the three) bars - I have taller bars if you're interested in trading.
Thanks - RR

I just put a set of the taller bars on they measured about 6 inches, I had the 4.5 on. The tall bars are still available individually, I picked up a deal for the upgrade kit off of Ebay.

eBay he said. Considering the set I was watching is sold, my guess is that he bought them, at a good price at that : D.

Not where, when. Parts in bags like that are sometimes being sold by dealers, and they sometimes have more than one. Just wondering if it was recent.

It was a dealer, that was all they showed at the time I bought that set. East side Harley out of Washington state, it was just last week, actually shipped in the original box as well.

Mark were those individual numbers I gave you showing no availability?

I just checked the individual bar numbers and they appear to be available.

I measured the three heights of bars. The heights (as expected) are not consistent within the same type of bars. The bigger difference in height between the low and the mid/standard measurement seems to be from (a plane equal to) the top of the triple clamp - to the bottom of the grip end. Measuring at the crown of the bend is only about a 1/2 to 3/4" difference.
The low bars are roughly 1 7/8" and the mid bars are about 3 1/8" at the tip. The touring bars are about 4 3/8".
Based on the 4.5" measurement at the "bend" that was provided - they're likely the mid/standard bars.

Screamer,

If I recall correctly from one of your previous posts, can't the 2 non-touring bars be identified from each other by where the hand control wiring runs?

If I am remembering things correctly, the lowest bars are the ones that had a hole in each bar to run the control wiring inside the bar, while the 'mid' bars have the divot formed into them to allow the control wiring to escape between the hand control and the bar.

Not trying to confuse things further - just trying to clarify if there's any way to differentiate between the non-touring bars,

1313 - Yes, (I had to go back out and check) the low bars have the hole on the underside of the bend. I was explaining the difference in the hopes that Mhlunsford's were the low bars (like to have a spare set).
