Are the screens in the rear fairing similar in size to the ones on an S3? I can look when I get home but always seem to forget.

Through a dealer, you can do a " parts locator" search and you may be able to find a dealer that has them. I bought a few in 2013. Also you may check with Lance at St Paul

The screens were made in sheets . . about 2' x 2' if I recall . . . Brankin might recall. They were "snap-off", like model car parts. I had a case around at one time but they may have been tossed with about 19 cases of Buell stuff that had to get thrown out last year.

You can see a couple of them in my "mobile fix-it box" I used to call around the country on my factory S3.

NOTE: If you want to see something REALLY rare . . . look at the far left compartment . . the row directly above the bottom row.

I am positive they are different from the S3 screens. S3 are narrower and have the pegasus logo in the center.

The low buck replacement is the galvanized expanded metal from the home improvement store that fits over your rain gutters to keep the leaves out...

My first S2, number 235, I think, had rain gutter type screens as delivered from the previous owner. Tell me, Court, do you know if the early run used a different material. My new S2 (1996) has the fancier ones. Or one, as one is missing.

They changed.

Earlier one's had more "texture" . . . the later were received in large sheets and flat stampings.
