Not mine, looked like it was a clean bike, shipping seems very high on Saddlebags:

Man, that makes me sick to my stomach....everything but the frame...

Everyone with an S2T, all... you might want to check your garage...

Pity that these bikes seem to command more in pieces than all together... Sad fate for such a rare bird...

Just to let you all know, this WAS my S2T just 2 weeks ago. This was the bike I had up for sale that had an issue with the turn signals. The buyer is someone whom I'd known about 15 years ago who at that time had a brand new 1996 S2T and traded it at the dealership I worked for towards a TriumphT-595. When he contacted me about my ad on Craigslist he said he'd always regretted getting rid of his and he wanted one again. I am beyond sick over what he's done! Had I even begun to expect this I never would have sold him the bike. This bike was a numbers matching, 95% original machine with signature series stuff to go with it. He told me he was interested in fixing the electrical issue and getting it back to it's former glory. Bike only had 28k original miles! I understand some of you may need or want some of these parts but I really hope as true Buell enthusiasts we can all stick together and not patronize this lying SOB!

Well, after reading the posts, I feel compelled to offer up the other point of view.

I bought some of the parts from the seller. I have an S2T that needs T specific parts to make it whole again. I don't regret buying a single piece from the seller. I'm actually elated to get some of the pieces.

I've been on here on BWB far longer than I have been posting. And I have a differing view point on selling these machines. If you guys are so 'sick' over other people either buying these bikes to be parted, or worse, butchered into a chopper, why sell in the first place? If these bikes mean that much to you, as some say, how can you part with the machine? And we all know nobody is getting rich from selling their beloved tubers.

I have bikes, simply sitting in my basement that I will never sell. Why? Because of the very concerns Buellers express.

But what do I know. Just my two cents...

The problem is our bikes are worth more parted than whole. Total bummer, but a harsh reality. However, with every one that dies, there may be others that are saved. After all, where else are the parts going to be used except on another Buell, unless it's being mutated.

bikerchuck... I never did find another s2t to take a look at that was close enough to consider, I just couldn't afford another project to resolve before being able to title it...but when I saw the listing for parts I recognized it as yours immediately!!!.. I cringed when I saw what happened to your bike!!!

I snagged some M2 parts locally just a month ago long after the chop. They hang in my garage ready for the day I need them. I see the same thing happen in the vintage tractor market ( I was an engineer for Case-New Holland electrical ). Again, I'm GRATEFUL for the BWB crowd that has helped me out with REASONABLE parts when I needed them

Derrick,

The fairing on eBay would work out perfectly. I had emailed him about the condition of the bike because I am local to him, he replied:

"Front fairing needs bodywork/paint, couple turn signals, mirrors, replace fluids, clean out the carb, and check gaskets and seals. The bike has been sitting for a few years. Bike has a new clutch, tires, exhaust, and rear shock."

I have a spare set of mirrors in okay condition, they are yours free if you get it! I think he will go low on that price, I would start at $2000.
