There is always something important at stake, in every election, so there should never be a reason to vote for anyone but a R or a D. That is the message both parties would like to promote to keep the status quo. And most of the sheep buy into it. Imagine if you will, the mass population votes their conscious and not their party. Hell even if one bad choice wins over the other and an independent gets a significant % of the vote, the message that would be sent to both parties would be vital. Instead of voting for who I feel would be the best person to hold office you guys want me to hold my nose and vote for YOUR best choice. AND you try to intimidate folks into voting for YOUR choice, with threats of the sky falling and the country ceasing to exist. Nice! How about this: I personally feel it is un-American to vote for the lesser of 2 evils and anyone doing so condemns this country to a failed 2 party system. You guys will be spouting the same message next election cycle, and the next, and the next... When IS IT time to take a stand? |

All the folk who stay home this November because they don't like..... who ever...... are screwing themselves. Don't misunderstand. I totally get that the Game Show Host is not what you want. You want an intelligent person who you agree with on at least the basics of Government. So do I. I've wanted that for years & didn't get it. Not going to get it now. Or maybe you're a D voter and the Absolute Corruption Hillary is actually too much. But if you insist on perfection you will be disappointed. And letting this election pass you by in disgust means you lose. I live in N.Y.. N.Y. will go Hillary. My vote is almost meaningless. But not entirely. The last wiki leak release of Hillary's own words before the election could turn even the Imperial State enough that my vote counts. Or yours. What revelation could actually hurt Hillary? The mind boggles. Those who pay attention won't be shocked by another Hillary rant about the f'ing Jews or her getting bribed to raise the price of fuel by rich Arabs. But it might shock the low information voters. |

You guys will be spouting the same message next election cycle, and the next, and the next... Isn't that true. They did it last time and you can find those posts easily. Course, they also were predicting their boy Romney would win. Whoops. Got that one wrong. I also love how they were so hoping not to get Trump. Now they are ready to kiss his ass. They provide continuous entertainment. |

Trump is not part of the so-called established oligarchy so it is OK to vote for him. He doesn't need the government pension nor perks. I really believe that he is running because he loves America and sees how screwed up it has become because of Clinton/Bush(W)/Obama. He does need the power to: * Lower personal taxes. * Lower corporate taxes. * Repatriate offshore capital. * Repeal Obamacare. * Restore the military. * Reestablish respect for America by our friends and enemies. * Establish sane immigration policies. * Provide educational and vocational opportunities for disadvantaged Americans. * Support Israel. * Make NATO pay their freight as we simply can't afford to do everything for everybody anymore because of our prolonged 1% ish GDP growth. * Nuke the EPA. * Hopefully abolish the Education Dept (although he hasn't spoken of this). What everyone seems to be getting their panties wadded up about Trump is because he is a loud mouthed New Yawkah. Hell, I resemble that, just ask Court. IT IS OK TO LIKE, SUPPORT, AND VOTE FOR TRUMP. Otherwise, you get Hillary, corruption, investigations, impeachment, and continued degradation of American society and economy. |

My panties are not in a twist. Hell I married a loud mouthed New Yorker. I find his banter refreshing to be honest, even if I don't like some of the messages. I also don't think he is running because he loves America, I believe he is in the race because in the end he will make more money. He is a business man first. I also don't have an issue with that. Your list is interesting Reindog and my only arguments would be the support for Israel and the abolishment of the Education Department. While I believe we should maintain good relations with Israel and be a strong ally for them against their/our enemies, we need to stop giving them (and other countries) so much money and actually hold them to the agreements they made concerning the settlements and land issues. Abolishing the Education Department would be more negative than positive. Our country needs standards and goals, but it certainly could use a re-org. Same with most of the government establishments. They need to be better organized and "reminded" that they work for ALL of the people. This goes for the EPA, IRS, NSA, CIA, FBI and ALL other agencies who have forgotten the line in the constitution; "We the People...". "Provide educational and vocational opportunities for disadvantaged Americans. " Is an interesting thought. There are many educational opportunities for disadvantaged Americans. The problem is that the "No Child Left Behind" (thanks Shrub), broke many things that were working and all but eliminated any sort of vocational programs for all Americans. It tied the hands of Teachers to provide the proper education for those who were never going to succeed in college and would have flourished in a vocational environment. We screwed at least one generation of kids out of a proper way to make a living and are now paying for it (or will when many of them default on their school loans). Hell I am a product of the Vocational Training that got eliminated in this country and I have been very successful in my career without the 4 year degree. I ended up getting promoted to CTO in my last job because I had more hands on experience than anyone else in my company by a wide margin. I could tell you some stories about the attitudes of parents when asked if their child would be interested in trade schools. Damn you guys got me started again... lol! This has got to be one of the most polarizing election cycles EVER and with the attitudes both sides have, the next one will be even worse. This country needs someone to step up and unite us instead of dividing us. The R's and D's seem to have forgotten the timeless message: United we stand, divided we fall. And we are falling fast. |

The Dems prosper by dividing us. Their whole platform isn't about one group and one message. It's about a bunch of little groups and convincing them that the Rs are going to treat them unfairly. |

Isn't that true. They did it last time and you can find those posts easily. Fair. And the unemployment has continued to go up, we are in more wars, there are more terrorist attacks in the U.S. and while stocks are pretty good, they are also completely artificially boosted & that shoe may drop any day. Course, they also were predicting their boy Romney would win. Whoops. Got that one wrong. Sorry, for me this one's all wrong. not my boy, didn't predict he'd win, but other certainly may have. I also love how they were so hoping not to get Trump. Who did? I liked how much the Republican Establishment hated him, I liked how he spoke truth to power in his dealing with the Propaganda Press, but I've never liked the Guy. Just always rubbed me the wrong way. That's true with a lot of rich and powerful people. The facebook jillioniare for example, seems to have zero redemptive aspects. To be fair the Republican line up of 16 was a little horrifying even without Trump. But there were a couple who could have been decent choices... especially compared to the D selection of 2 aging cultists. Now they are ready to kiss his ass. Nope, not me. I'll be just as hostile towards any idiocy of Donald as I would be of Barry's or Hillary's. Or George's. I'm sold on picking the lesser evil, since Cthulu didn't get on the ticket. Probably because the Hillary faction at the DNC lost the petitions. They provide continuous entertainment. Now, THERE you've got a point. Funny one too. It might be better if you actually had anything truthful and supportive of what ever your ideals are to say. You might be surprised to find that if you have a good argument, with reality on your side, that some here will listen & agree. Simply mocking us is too lazy to prove anything except you can do witty with enough time and effort. Overall, a Meh post. Not a "like" and certainly not a "ban this jerk" but sound and mild fury signifying nothing. |

My conscience tells me that Hillary would be absolutely terrible for America. She has proven to be dishonest and unethical throughout her entire adult life. During the Clinton's political career, she has proven she will do what ever she can get away with to advance her own power and wealth. Anybody else can be damned. There have been an astonishing number of people who have known the inside dirt, and have been in a position to spill that dirt when they have come to an untimely end. At what point do you consider that they may not all be coincidences? What would she think she can get away with when she has the highest power this world has to offer right now? If that doesn't give you pause, what in the hell will? |

I said it before... the reason to vote for Trump is the same reason you would take a skunk from your porch and drop it in the open sunroof of the car that is blocking your driveway. It probably won't even help anything in the long run, you will still smell the skunk, and the car will still be blocking your driveway. But you will feel better, and both the skunk and the car owner will feel worse, and that's something. |

http://www.infowars.com/shut-it-down-reuters-order s-cameraman-to-kill-positive-trump-footage/ Reep.... I'm going to steal that. It's brilliant. Not thinking it's accurate, but speaking the bald truth gets you fired ( in the media ) or cast out ( on social herd sites ) or killed. ( if you work for Hillary or the DNC ) It's not that I forgive Trump for his foibles. Still don't like him. It's that NBC can and does lie to my face so I ignore them. I don't even hear the constant covering for Hillary's felonies.... and the list grows daily. I also don't hear a casual Donald comment turned into accusations of felonies. At some point rational people look at the skimpy available facts. First.... there are few rational people left. Second... Trump hasn't been in charge of increasing unemployment, wars on secular leaders & support of religious fascism, & promotion of race riots by lying about how evil police are. The Obama/Hillary regime has, is, and does. Third.... the wacko-con faction that still is crying in their beer that Donald won fair & square ( unlike Hillary ) because they didn't have a candidate who could sell their vision.... is now freaking because Donald is said to betray his promises to deport everyone ( I missed that, did he actually or did they just accuse him of that ) & using common sense & existing ( not made up by Barry) law. Or maybe nothing can please the professional victims. |

When I lived in Waltham near Brandeis University, whenever the students who lived across the street would throw a party, someone would always park in front of my driveway. I took to smearing door handles of cars blocking my driveway with Anti-Seize. I can relate to this statement |

So after reading about North Korea's latest nuke test, I wondered what the two potential Commanders in Chief have said about the Kim's regime. I googled "trump north korea", and 2 solid pages of nothing but clinton north korea results came up. The headlines read all about how trump has avoided the topic and failed to outline a plan. Click to read all about clinton's plans. Turns out, hilLIary says it's time to "rethink" our tactics with NK. We need to impose strict trade sanctions (because that's working so well as is). Trump, however, has brought up several times that Kim jong un needs to be assasinated and that China needs to get off their butts and make the NK problem go away before we have to do it for them. I suspect google is, once again, fiddling with the search results. |

Donald Trump is chemotherapy for the congress, and the constitution. He will likely make many elected officials (and a lot of voters) sick, but in the long run might be needed for the long term survival of our nation. Our constitution is written so an actually functioning congress can easily offset any real hazard he might pose through bellicosity. Generals have an obligation to disobey genuinely criminal, or unconstitutional orders. ( I believe the oath of office for Generals is to the Constitution, not specifically the President.) In trying to stonewall him, and losing their efforts against any truly populist will, our elected leaders will hopefully learn how to once again operate as a single governing body, and not the petulants we have now, each side blaming the other with no real solution to actual problems. I expect they may again learn to be a constitutionally structured and functioning government, acting as one great leader put it, "..a government of the people, by the people, and for the people." We tried hope and change, and that didn't work. It's time to try something new. |
