Firebolt triple-tree: Lightning triple-tree: We are currently trying to determine the best way to mount the modules and the ignition lock without the stock brackets seen on the Lightning triple. Maybe Odie will add his insight up to this point. Please feel free to post any ideas or suggestions.   Odie Posted on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 - 04:57 pm:        The only way that I can see to do it at this point is this- if you look on the R tree there are two little nubs sticking straight down. These are threaded. I could make a bracket that bolts to the bottom of the nubs and then basically duplicates the S tree from there as far as the holes go for the ignition switch and module mounting. I don't think it will be quite as strong as the original but should work. It will take time to get it just right though. Now, I just got back from a ride with my new CR Low bars and love them!!! This is cheaper and quicker!! I know, I know, you want to do it the hard way.........J/K! I agree with not wanting to weaken the piece at all. Good to hear you are doing well. StealthXB and I both have it. the limp grip has been cured!! no more clearance issues!!
