We had two 5 gallon cans of race fuel, and one 5 gallon can of regular but NO F' ing diesel fuel.
Your really close Odie....the cost is being kept classified, better yet TS
Still can't believe the fuel idiot light said I had 36 miles left and on top of that both gas stations were closed.

After getting to the track, and starting have fun. The practice day wasn't just fo racers, street riders too. So this made the groups mixxd in cc size and groups which took away from dividing the groups in more specific groups for an example,
LWT with novice and experts
600 I-4 bikes with novice
600 I-4 expert
750 I-4
HWT novice / expert
That had all the experts together with all classes,
novice w/ all engine classes. So I asked to go with
amateur since it was my 1st time track . One of the instructors also a friend said she give me the VIP lap
around the track so I could follow her lines,
well after 2 red flags and another restart
and not even getting a full lap in, we started again. As
I go into T4 I get azz packed my some 600 novice on a R6, new to racing and track days too. After a whole later her came and appol' and said
" he knew he was coming into the corner to fast and after seeing me knew he was going to hit me so at the last second her braked to slow down the impact.
Told him that's called. " target fixation" you look where you want to go...and if your think or say to yourself " I'm going to wreck, hit somebody / something you usually do!
Wanted to call him out but he did come over to check on me Nd said sorry. Where not playing golf out there or knitting sweaters

Think Smoke took a 8th and a 9th in another race today tomorrow he's doing the hole Tam Challenge on his own, 75 laps which is about 150 mole race with a two 2 he limit.

Anyway as I go in T4 folowing Rachel on her 600rr we
got split up b a pack off 600's
and then that's when I felt like a football being puntted off the track. He hit me from theback right side close to the rear axle at an angle. The next thing I remember was getting up after tumbling and thought I was ok, turn off the bike tried to lift I up when my right
shoulder popped , realized I felt a bir funny and my face sheild was missing along with glasses.
Looked at my bike, was wadded up pretty good. The right side case was crack, leaking oil everwhere, rear
set completely ripped off, tail was all f'd up along with the eight Arrow exhuast can crashed up against the tire, front upper fairings, clip-ons with clutch master,
levers broken and a dent in the tank that could fit a part of a baseball in. Lower fairings was about 10 ft from me and the bike, then noticing the right side rear set was snapped off too along with some smaller damage.
Tim gave me ride to the hospital took some xrays showing a broken clavicle and the broken overlaping eachother by an inch and 1/2 or so. Great hospital, in
and out in about 2 1/2 hrs. Small cocussion only got sick a couple times late on that night and follwing morning. Told me to give the swelling a few days,
hoping the muscles will relax with some meds causing the broke bone to move closer together. Go see the Ortho' on Tuesday/ wendsday. Hoping an Op
isn't nesseary. Doctors called today and told me to more xrays are needed they found a fracture in my upper shoulder blade. It's only been a day, so the rest of my body is letting me know it's not happy. At least I didn't break the same right leg, femur again, lol!
We waited maybe 60 seconds in the ER, hopsital and staff was a class act
Btw, this is what happened. On my first session thrid
lap I got punted off the track in T4. They let me ride in |

I think maybe people are buying up Buells now that prices have dropped. I went out to run some errands the other day and 2 out of the 3 motorcycles I saw were XBs. I don't usually even see one Buell, much less two! |

Thanks y'all. The doctor will decide weather to put the plate and screws in on thrursday. I'd rather not do the Op' but the recovery time should be lots quicker. Was thinking maybe If I do, I'd be able to race at Road Atlanta for the GNF, lol!

Leathers have been down a few times, got patches -tears with 4 race seasons on them and weathered..
Boots have 4 seasons and are held toghether with duct tape, glue
Suomy helmet was bought this past year but it's wasted...
