You start thinking about shrink wrapping your shift lever toe piece, am I right, my brothers?

On the other hand.................

There really is no need to scuff up the old Gucci loafers just because you are running a Crossroads billet shift lever, is there?

cc

(For the technically minded: 1/2" black shrink wrap, baked in the kitchen oven for a couple of minutes at 220ยบ)

That's actually a pretty slick idea, Gent. Too bad they don't make a textured shrink wrap!

That's not all---------

Forget about a little S to R tail swap, or doesn't that count?

Yeah it counts, but I did it because I've wanted to for so long.
How do you think I got to the Buell Barn and back?

"What did cabin fever make YOU do?"

I fabricated a bracket so could mount the reservoir for my Penske shock underneath the engine. I painted it a with some old spray-paint I had laying around (faux Brass). To make sure the paint would stick, I baked it at 400 degrees in the kitchen oven for 30 minutes. The faux Brass finish turned into a flat, hard coat that's almost impossible to scratch off... and my oven smells like a chemical plant.

The bracket turned out really well.

Install heated grips, buy a heated vest, and temporarily remove my Odie heat barrier.

The roads are finally clearing after months of crappiness. The only riding I've been able to do has been on that PS3 Tourist Trophy game. It's been a hollow alternative to the real thing. I really need a fix................

We hit 74 degrees yesterday in PA

It was beautiful. I finally got a chance to test out the new tires and Helibars at some speed. Even with only a couple of miles on them, these new pirellis are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than those crappy stock Dunlops. It was amazing how much better the bike felt and handled with just these 2 changes.
