BADWEB is not a place to market, it is a place to avoid.

The sponsors are simply wasting their time and money on complainers and cheapskates at that site! Performance is costly. PERIOD.

Real performance and quality cost money. It is plain and simple. We engineer good solutions and focus on the needs of people, not the masses demand for "cheap" horsepower.

Yep, BS WEB is a pretty good summation. This site is nothing more that a forum that I wish to take to a more professional level, but I am putting more focus on development and testing vs. sitting behind a computer all day long.

What you will find here are really good people however, and even a few brave BADWEB People on this site that have the better sense to know that the problem with BADWEB are only a few of the ding dongs that like to sit and complain. I laugh everytime when I see how many posts the complainers and whiners make and during that time I was out riding my bikes!!!!

DYNA you are a clown and a whiner.

You are like a sex addict with a dildo...you obviously can't control yourself.

You don't like this guy. WE GET IT!!!!Stopped caring a long time ago.

Take a deep breath, quit complaining, and try to move on with your life!!!!

Inappropriate anonymous post (IP=65.192.197.18) attempting to conceal poster's identity while waging a personal attack. These actions (inappropriate anonymous post and waging personal attack) are both contrary to BadWeB usage policy. Account of offending poster is hereby conditionally suspended.

didn`t take long to realize that the BAD Web is nothing but a bunch of clowns that are
do-nothings that just sit around all day
and complain!

Uh....is that the Badweb that whilst others sat on their hands and did nothing but brag like a locker room full of high school kids, organized some of the greatest Buell gatherings EVER....then took up the BMW and Moto Guzzi challenge, went to Bonneville (while the other folks were opining about Salt Virgins and overconfidence), broke a records for records broken in a day, took every record they sat out to take and were recognized as "the best organized team to ever arrive at the salt, even better than Vance and Hines" and brought folks together from 9 countries to tune, play and enjoy Buells.

Yeah....sounds like the kind of folks I like to do nothing with.

Follow your heart Luke....

Exactly Court. Im not whining 1 damn bit about anything & if the anon poster had any guts he wouldnt hide behind a keyboard to attack someone.

I dont like it when I see someone attacking this board or the people who belong to it. More knowledge & actual results have come from here than any other board or group of people.

I will continue to post Coreys negative comments & BS statements until he stops. My hope is that even if 1 persons mind is changed & refuses to deal with this guy then its worth it.

Well said Court! In addition to the numerous land speed records, we've also:

Organized a birthday party for Erik with over 100 riders in attendance (something H-D couldn't find time to do)

Raised over $10K for a fallen rider

Raised money for the air fence program (20th poster sales)

I'm sure there are more great things that have come out of BadWeb. Keep up the good work guys. I'm proud to be part of this community!!!

Blake,Court, et al....
Thanks for your stance on these personal attacks and derogatory comments. I appreciate we we've got here and try to abide by the rules, others just don't seem to see it that way. I'm sure you're getting a lot of flack from some people about freedom of speech and all, but freedom of speech in my book does not allow for stooping to levels we've seen of late. Like many posters here, I'm just fed up with the level of immaturity showing up in some posts. I'm sure playing "board mom" gets to be a drag at times but there are those of us that appreciate it.

Lake, I wouldn't claim that the entire $10K was raised by BadWeB. I'm sure that the guys at ATC and SacBORG also pitched in. To tell the truth, I'm disappointed in the response. With all the people visiting the site, we should have generated a lot more of a recovery fund for Ted. Twenty bucks times just 2,000 users would result in $40,000.

Mr. James needs to cease deriding BadWeB immediately or he'll find in me a much more aggressive and focused opponent than Dyna. I've held my tongue to this point, but I'm prepared to unleash the facts to the full extent of the law if necessary. I have an article in mind that I'm sure the folks at RRW and all the other prominent cycle magazines would love to print.

Too funny, no Corey is making a little "members only" site so himself & his many online alter ego's can discuss Badweb amongst themselves. Sorta like a super secret "no girlz" allowed club.

Im so touched too CoreY that you check into this thread every day & even decided to put a link to it. BTW, the lame names you come up with as some sort of pathetic put down are ridiculous. Not quite as ridiculous as the claims you make regrading the garbage products you push on unsuspecting people however.

And as far as having to tell me that im not invited to your new top secret club I really dont care in the least.
Have fun in your own private little circle jerk.

Due to the reported derision, I paid a visit to Mr. James' site. I found it interesting how so many of the contributors there use the same tone, writing style, and unique terms found in Mr. James' posts. The complete lack of any real technical content was also surprising.

I was reminded of a certain thread here some months back. If it weren't so blatantly dishonest, such juvenile hucksterism would be comical. When combined with defamatory statements directed towards those who have exposed such dishonesty and towards those who support this forum, I unfortunately find the situation warranting my attention.

I've apprised MSN of the situation and am hopeful they will take appropriate action. I have saved copies of all the offending statements/web pages including those resident on ATC. I have catalogued a substantial collection of email corroberating the case against Mr. James. It is irrefutable and clear cut. We also have direct evidence on this site. Either Mr. James backs down, or he will be put out of business. That's not just me speaking, that is from my attorney. He mentioned the words "fraud", and "libel" among others.

Blake:

I got a very nice, very postive letter from NY Attorney General Elliot Spitzer yesterday. I have advised the NY Internet Security Bureau of the threat of physical violence against me, provided them with the identies of those involved and ask that they investigate.

They have engaged the Federal Trade Commission as this appears to have crossed state lines.

Like you, I have a threshold of how much I will tolerate. They have crossed my line.

The last time this happened, it was resolved the moment MA Investigative Agents showed at the door with the warrant. Please people, bear in mind that "I will do _________ to you at the next B.R.A.G. event" is a threat. Communicating such a threat over the internet is a federal felony.

Just food for thought.

Steve: I would warn, via your UK website and any others that you participate on, our Euro-Pals about this. It's a chance to send your haqrd earned Pound Sterling to the USA and get nothing of value back.

Folks who have been shot several times (I've been shot thrice) tend to take these things serioulsy. I do. He is welcome to call me names, to disagree and to throw tantrums. When you threaten me or my family it tends to arouse the old USMC / Secret Service intincts.

Corrie James you will be removed from this web-site if you do not stop trying to sell your product using ATC as a front. You are not a sponsor and have upset many of ATC's sponsors, and members. I purchased your product using a different name and put it on a shop bike. It sucks. No more horse power or torque. Your done.......

It's a shame that it's come to this. Nah...I take it back. It's about time! Being new to the community I've witnessed nothing but good from this board. Good information, good intentions, good people and good friends! Lately the attacks to this board and it's members has been out of hand. The Coreys and the 420s of the world have always been bullying their way through life and usually got away with it. The only way they learn is to get wupped upside the head!

Court... Not trying to do anything but put the BadWEb back where it always belongs in my heart, please read the following carefully.

Court, I will, at the first opportunity, insist vehemently that you join me for a chilled libation of your choosing.. Such beverage must be completely consumed whilst engaged in friendly chitchat pursuant to or (preferably) directly following a round of vigorous and grin inducing Buell riding. Failure to comply will force me to feel as though I haven't yet gotten a chance to meet you face to face, and cause me to then strive to do so at a later date.. The next 'Buell' event I will be attending will be 'The Ridge' in NC. Whilst there is no need to RSVP.. Your attendance would be appreciated.

There, now that's the kind of online threats you should be receiving here. Oh, and by the way, I meant every word of it! LOL..

Later,

Here is a copy of the email from Corey to a badweb member. I would seriously suggest Al at American Sport Bike reconsider if he hasnt already having anything to do with this jerk.

From: Corey James
To: Deleted by me
Sent: Thursday, January 15, 2004 10:28 PM
Subject: RE: VS Fabrication

Tilley's will not be doing our testing. Far too political for us! This project is terminated with anyone outside of our control. We have a US and UK Patent-Pending and the 8% change does not apply for a new patent so we have pretty much locked our design. Taller will not be better and we have developed a better air box with inverted cone that is centered perfectly for our velocity stack.

Brian Gardner called me, "a real " and does not want to do business with us. (I am very happy with that). This is perfectly fine as we do not need BADWEB to sell our product. We have contracts with several UK Suppliers and we have finalized our agreement with American Sport Bike. Tat at American Sport Bike will be getting the first 10 of our production run. BADWEB is a joke! Every one there needs to get out and ride and stop with the BS. What jokes of human lives! Anyone who has not put miles on their XB or gone through at least 2 sets of tires under 5,000 miles is pretty much not someone qualified to even consider changes of this magnitude on these bikes.

Testing will continue with the Bumpus Harley Davidson Group in Tennessee.

The problem there has less to do with my willingness to press my bike as it does the lack of anything resembling a road that has both good corners and is even remotely safe! % Michigan!

Anyhow, any 'insults' from that character couldn't possibly matter to anyone with a brain. He's obviously so full of % he even hs himself fooled. I pity him.

I hop on this site on a daily basis and check a lot of things out. I have found that this site has been highly educational for me in many areas.

Blake I Love this site and everyone that has asked me about my bike whether it was the Blast or my new Bolt, I always ask them to check out this site, in addition to telling them how much I love Buell's.

When I purchased my 12R on Saturday one of the first things I asked the salesman and the finance specialist was if they knew about BadWeatherBikers. One guy said he'd heard of it, the other hadn't. Wish I had business cards for you Blake. I was pretty intense with both of them insisting that they should check this site out. In all honesty, if it had not been for this website I might have folded and got a sportster. I told them that they should really check it out and seriously consider talking to you about advertising here. I told them that they would find that this site is the PREMIER site for Buell owners.

I Love being a member here and can honestly say that I am as proud to be a member at this site, as I am proud to be a Marine. I hope one day to meet you and many of the members on this site. I've met a few, heck, think I might have introduced the site to a few more current members. Court, I hope one day to meet you also, from what I have read you have one VERY interesting life, by the way, when's that Bio coming out, or did I miss something? Blake, we're behind you 110% here. Keep up the awesome job you do here.

"What would the approximate RWHP be for a 150HP engine measured at the crank?"

I've heard that approximately 15% is lost through the drive system to the rear wheel. So... 150 HP at the crank would be apx 127.5 RWHP ... }give or take... depending on many variables.
