My Buell causes a lot of passionate dissension among other riders. This Ti pipe causes a lot of passionate dissension among Buell riders. Hell, I ought to buy one now just for fun!

proclaing that I am bashing...what day did this start....and still no fucking dyno's
saying that I am not perfect, like I fucking thought I was.....jesus never proclained that.
By assuming that I said this pipe would not perform better than the drummer....never said that in fact I probably said somewhere where it might be just like the fucking breaking force pipe ...it might be 6 or so odd better...
did I say it ain't worth the price....you bet I fucking did....
did I speaj of knowledge I gained from the business I am in and say this won't do it....you bet I did....
you showed your ass because you come back on here all high and mighty and above this stuff.
well tell me what the fuck you know about how to make an exhaust system work.....
and I keep coming back to

where are the fucking dyno's....are they a business or not....and yes he works for thewm so where are the fucking dyno's

fucking sheep...rip all day long on harley guys and the money they spend on their bikes for bling bling shit and stuff that is over priced and gives no performance......and then wham....oh look at that....ooooh I want...I don't care if it works I want it it looks so cool.....

fucking what part do you want to know....

Funny again and again ...noone really wants the fucking truth......

maybe I'll change my name to limperlife....and come back as an unknowing lover of all things bling....

I have said it before & I will say it again. Buell riders are just as much into the poser value of stuff as any of the HD riders are..& thats not a bad thing at all. Just as Brian pointed out you cant rip on the HOGs when you are guilty of the same thing.

Sorry I didnt throw enough "fucks" into that..hopefully you can figure out what it says.: D

wow, my name change had absolutely nothing to do with this forum at all, just wanted a change. get over that small insignificant fact.

high and mighty, because i want and encourage new products, what the fuck is your fucking problem. i'm all for advancements...maybe this product isn't the greatest, but perhaps the next product they make will be. if you and your sheep prevent them from developing due to a lack of encouragement, we may never know.

i am a harley guy as well, and i'm not ripping on anyone for any amount of money they spend on their bikes, just don't know what gives you the right to call it TOO expensive.

also, i have NO intention of getting one since it's too expensive FOR ME, so not even sure where half your comments are based off of.

apparently i need to swear my head off for you to comprehend what i'm saying since that's what you seem to have to resort to. consider me gone, and i'm sure you will all have a much better life and forum without me.

grow the fuck up buckin, sorry i ever gave you my business you child.

OMG!! this is great entertainment man. Hang on a sec, no one post anything until I go get another beer. You just can't get quality entertainment on the tube like this anymore. BTW Brain, was great to meet you, you do great work. the Drum is beat'in loud as hell. (heh..heh...) Just spent the last year fighting and watching americans fighting iraqis to come home and read on here about americans fighting americans about american motorcycles... (hoping the irony isn't lost there). It's funny sometimes what people find is important enough to get themselves upset about. Oooops... anyway sorry to interrupt, I have my beer now, please continue.

Brian, back off man, go drink a beer, what ever. In Robs initial post he promised dynos, he then responded to your comments as the dynos were messy, what I am thinking is since the pipe came over from Suzuka, the dynos are in japanese and metric measurements. He also said the initial headers will be stainless until they are certain where the reinforcement needs to be then they will be in Ti. This was also in response to a question. Oriental Express is an upstanding company. Give them a chance to run and post dynos here. He even said the pipes hadn't been on US soil for 36 hours. Just sit back and take a breather. Your seeing pics of a finished product this time, not someones vision. Personally I think its great someone like Ti Force and Oriental Express are looking at the Buell as a viable platform to build aftermarket parts for. LEts not burn them without something to show. Honestly Rob admitted to looking at being an advertiser here, cool, but if you walked into this thread and saw your shit getting dumped on before you had a real chance to prove its worth, would you bother? Or how about the lurker company that is checking the market...if they saw this thread, think they would want to bother? If I had the money to drop on the Ti Force...I would have the money to drop on a Nallin kit, along with a lighter crank and the MaxT 4 valve heads...so it would be a matter of the market. I mean come one, if he is being real and the whole exhaust weighs 10 lbs, thats what 20+ lbs gone? For a racer it might be worth it. So lets just all back off and give them a chance to hang themselves before we lynch them.

Just some quick observations from someone who has no real interest in either side.

1. I don't think many (if any) people will buy something like this without some data showing it actually works.

2. We're not children. We can decide for ourselves if we want to spend the money for something (and if a few extra horsepower aren't worth a good chunk of cash, should anybody buy any aftermarket exhaust?)

3. Sponsors deserve a bit of special treatment and attention for their investment, but the forums have to be open to all products so we can share information about what's out there. If people are intimidated into not discussing non-sponsored items by bullying tactics this forum has lost a valuable resource.

And finally, Bubba, do you really think it's wise to use such obnoxious, insulting language to describe people who consider factors other than simple cost/performance . . . on a Buell site?

Wow. Ditto Wycked's entire post...

Any reason why we can't just wait for the stupid dyno's?

I'd buy one just because it looks so damn cool (as long as the torque plateau is somewhat preserved). It sure looks like it sounds good : ).

Brian - Tell them you'll trade them a drummer for a Ti-Force and both do dyno's.

There are just too many products for Buells, too many descisions to make. Which tire to use, which muffler, which seat, etc. etc... There should just be one of everything, think of all the time and heartache you will save on making complecated descisions on what to buy. I wish I lived in the old Russia.

Harsh - the whole scene here - All I wanted to know was what the differences where, why you couldn't run the Drummer, and if the weight savings was a big difference. Didn't even ask about performance because all of you agree that the most is a few hp difference - why is this so personal - geez the questions have been lost for all the bickering over nothing - since no dyno has been produced either. You all need to settle down and remember your among friends - lol - later - Got Thump?! Just Blasting on the Dark side! EZ

Why is it that as soon as a new exhaust comes out, Bubba seems to attack it?

Last month it was the Jardine pipe that sucked. Truth is on the dyno and real world riding (above 3000 rpms the Jardine will smoke the Drummer for only $230 bucks and you still have your stock can for trips to the dealer.

The Drummer is a good pipe, many people here will vouch for that. But there is nothing wrong with having other choices and options.

We should be encouraging the aftermarket for Buell Mods not attacking them as soon as they post a new product.

Oh yeah, and how about some independent Dyno tests of your precious Drummer!

Do we have dyno results posted to back this up? If so, please give the location.

Agreed.

"Oh yeah, and how about some independent Dyno tests of your precious Drummer!"

I personally posted dyno runs of stock vs D&D vs the Drummer on the XBoard. They are located in one of the numerous exhaust threads. I can repost if anyone would like to see them.

Nope, I don't have a Drummer; I have a D&D and am quite happy with it. But let's be fair and give everyone the same consideration.

This week the local H-D dealer told me to be sure to put my stock pipes on for inspection. "New York is getting real fussy" he said. The service dept lackey told me " don't worry about it"

The Chopper shop didn't even blink when I had my M2 inspected there this morning. I guess a titanium slip on ( Wileyco ) was too mild to even notice.

I try to buy on facts, or informed opinion. I would want a Dyno chart.

Sure... dyno charts are a help. I think most of all, they might show a glaring problem you wouldn't see otherwise (a massive dip, perhaps). But beyond that... the exhaust system is but one component that must be matched and tuned to everything else. Who knows... maybe Brand X pipe works best with stock heads... maybe Brand Y pipe will not look as good with the stock heads, but look a bit better with modified heads (and other components). And for those reasons, I think that maybe it's hard to say that one is better than another when tested on the same bike.

If you don't have access to a good builder/tuner... and/or aren't racing... I say go with whatever "floats your boat". Go for looks... sound... weight... reliability.... price.... whatever. Sure.... check out the dyno chart... but remember that small differences could easily "flip-flop" if tested with another *tuned* combination. Or (horrors!)... keep it stock. ; )

Guys, trust me I have been doing this stuff long enough, that I don't at all feel attacked. You guys have legit concerns and once we get a few out there the proof will be in the pudding.

Just curious what would you expect a "good gain" to be for these things on a 9 and 12? How about a "great gain"?

I'm not sure it was on this board (could have been 3 or 4 pages back) but someone (I'm not sure who..lol) mentioned about us doing inline 4 stuff and not knowing the v-twin stuff. True we have been doing performance I4 stuff pretty much since day 1 , but we do know a thing or three about pushrod v-twins through our involvement being Factory Yamaha for a couple of years and building really stout streetable Road Stars and Warriors for both the track and street. Are we going to build much more for the HD and (more importantly) the Buell market, I don't know, but anything is possible. Truth be told aside from the Buell exhaust market, the rest of the HD performance market it pretty crowded (unlike the metric cruiser performance market) and being that we wouldn't just buy someone elses shit and copy it, the development time and $$ would be pretty huge.
I will say that for about $6500 we can make a 52hp/85ftlb Road Star into a 117hp/145ftlb NA monster and all while, aside from the exhaust and velocity stack, the motor retains a completely stock appearance.
