I believe you can get a frame for a race bike buildup, no VIN required. Probably need rider or team cert.'s though.

I will check on what you need to buy a frame. The swingarm of course is no problem.
What pipe do you want?

I'll be back!

The pipe. What's the cost of a factory pipe versus an aftermarket pipe? And I'm not talking about the muffler. Also the difference between the 9 and the 12 header, cost and performance?

The header pipes are around 200.00
Which one will work better depends on what motor you are using.
What are you building?
I asked my parts guys and they said buying a frame without one to send in to verify the VIN probably isn't going to happen.
Let me know what your project is and I'll see if it's true that you can get untitled frames thru the racing dept.

if your staying with the 984 engine you'd be best with the 9 headers IMHO

Dave,
Hey, no worries about the belt upgrade parts, but could you throw in a T-shirt some something like that for the wait. If not, no problem. Also, do you have the black heel guards? and how much, I think I want them.

Later, Morgan

Dave, sorry I forgot, I do really need a new tail light lens for my bike (messed mine up with paint stripper). If you have one or could get one by the time the other parts come in please send it along. Just charge that same card again. Thanks again, hope this isn't too much trouble
