My wife has a 2001 Blast and wants me to build her a custom bike using a Redneck Engineering frame kit. They have the frame listed for years 2002-2006. I talked with Nobody (Vince Doll) from Redneck for about an hour at Daytona bike week and he said he was not sure if the frame kit would work or not, they had a 2002 blast that they used to design the kit from. Is there any difference between an 01 and 02 frame.

They are all the same. 99.9% of all years, all parts, are interchangeable. A 2000 Blast is virtually identical to a 2009 Blast. They should list it for 2000-2009.
And, FWIW, I have put a 2002 engine in a 2000 frame!

Good luck with the build, welcome, and we'll want to see pictures!

Thanks for the info. We will go ahead and order the frame tomorrow. It should be about 3 weeks to get it in. I will post project pics when I start.
