Congrats to Deeley!!

But why the jab at RMR??? I met Ritchie at Homecoming 2008. He is a class act and would no doubt have campaigned a Buell if at all possible!

Buell2001 feels that RMR is an evil Buell hater now since they switched to Suzuki.

I am not a hater of RMR. I thank them for what they did for Buell. I just can't accept the excuse that they had to switch to susuki. The Canadian guys prove me right that its a choice.
RMR feels that they have a good chance and I am sure the money is not bad either.
Its a business decision not one that I agree with hey but that is capitalism.
Everyone knew that Buell would be allowed to race this year so why not be patient, hang with buell one more year and then make a change if Buell did not come back.
HD like RMR are business, This is why I don't believe the Buell brand will die.
when the economy gets better Buell will be back.
I think aslo Danny as a rider does not have a choice in insiting in riding Buell, i personally think the Buell was made for rides like him. I will bet anyone money that he will not win the title with suzuki and its a shame for a rider like him to waste his time on a bike that can't get him a title.
the 2 yamahas will finish 1 and 2 and cardenas 3.
my preidiction for 2010.

Buell2001b, you have been told several times why it made sense for rmr to make their move for several reasons.

You obviously don't have the ability to understand that AMA pro racing is a business, and in business you have to strike when the iron is hot.

You're starting to look like a whiney ex-girlfriend, and not very smart either.

It's time to let it go man. Like it or not, it's over.

Buell2001b - you need to READ about what you're constantly harping on and on about.

Also, you're comparing Canadian Superbike to AMA? Different organizations, different schedules, different in many ways.

Comparing Deely (THE Canadian Buell importer) to Richie Morris Racing? Deely makes their living importing and selling motorcycles, Richie makes his living racing. Geico makes their living selling insurance, NOT racing.

You need to improve your reading skills and your ability to retain what you've read.

The Canadian Buell squad races the 1125R primarily against other superbikes - not 600's. 'Under the radear' I believe they were one of the first to put the 1125RR (before it made its debut) to test in the rigours of actual racing - They didn't do too bad either - against the baddest bikes the big 4 have to offer.

Deeley and Ruthless racing have been great supporters of Buell and have been major sponsors of the Parts Canada Superbike series. I commend them for the effort they have put into the series, and to still be racing a brand that is no longer in production shows their dedication to racing.

Ruthless Racing fielded some great riders with Darren James winning 2 thunder classes on the XB's. Getting Steve Crevier to ride the 1125R in superbike in basically stock trim for the first few races got people's notice. Steve gave everyone something to think about in every race as he was always in there, and the 1125 was getting better every race. Of course it doesn't hurt that he is one of the most talented and experienced road racer's in Canada.

Darren James, Dave Estok, Steve Crevier and Olivier Spilborghs all raced in the sport bike class and Steve also raced all the Superbike. Darren and Dave also raced some of the Superbike races as well.

I'm glad they're going to be able to make it another year as i don't know how the Canadian series would survive without support from Deeley (Harley's Canadian distributor).

Right now anyone who can field any sort of team and get any sponsorship is very lucky indeed. I see that Stiggy racing has now dropped out of WSBK, and I'm guessing there will be more to come.

When you hear how much it costs to field a top AMA, or for that matter, Part Canada bike, it's not hard to figure out that someone is losing a lot of money.

dear Buell2001b,

as a long-time participant here, I have rarely [thank goodness!] encountered such unnecessary
& incendiary drivel as your all-too-frequent posts RE: Buell racing

please STOP posting about road racing on this BadWeb site

your obvious unfamiliarity with what's req'd to compete on-track
& your disrespectful attitude contaminate every thread to which you post

simply put, tho' I have zero power here & have never made such a request -

please, HTFU !!
