Guys, if anybody is interested, Bergdale H-D in Albert Lea Minnesota has a brand new 2007 XB12STT for sale. It really is new, only 3 miles on it. I noticed that the beak has been removed and the front fender has been replaced with the lower street fender. The number plates were removed also to change the look but the dealer said they could find them for anyone who buys the bike. They are asking $10,290. I really like the looks of that bike but just don't have the money to spend right now. Here a are few pics I took today:

At that price they are likely to have her for a while longer. |

I thought the price was kinda high too. What do you guys think this bike should sell for? Cyclonedon, I know you are just kidding but I think these bikes were available with the barricade orange airbox cover. The number plates, of course, are white. |

Half that price. Keeping a 5 year old bike at a few bucks off MSRP isn't a way to move inventory. |

Seriously, I hate to say it, but Buell prices have plummeted. I'd say $6000 would be ball park. When a dealer is so far away from what I'd be willing to pay, I don't normally bother. Who knows, maybe they will find someone to buy it. It's only been four years after all. |

Worst thing a bike or car can do is sit. I learned the hard way when we bought 48 3/4T 4x4 pickups for a job. It was delayed 18 months, trucks sat and when we started using them seals leaked and the whole complement of non-use maladies. |

Dillon Brother's H-D/Buell has way better deals on that model and from dealing with these guys on my two ULY's I know that they easily knock off a grand without a blink of the eye. http://www.dillonharley.com/am/listings/l0105.html http://www.dillonharley.com/am/listings/l0161.html |

I just thought it was interesting to see a brand new ( 3 actual miles ) 2007 model. The 2008 under Electraglider's post is a much better deal, besides the fact that it is a 2008 also. |

There are quite a few UNSOLD Buells from 1995 through 2002 haunting a few dealers warehouses. It's not so much that folks didn't want or wouldn't buy the bikes . . more that there are dealers who thought ALL motorcycles in that era sold for $2,000 over list. Buddy picked up a zero mile 1996 S1 in California last week. It'll make for some interesting stories someday. |

Motorbike, I'll bet that 2008 can be had for about $5000. I posted about a month ago that my son and I visited and saw 3 of these Buells for right at 5 grand each. They were in the Dillon Brothers Motorsports building which sells Jap bikes and is conveniently located right next door to their H-D/Buell dealership. Maybe I'll head out there this weekend and see what's what. I'll bring my camera along and will take pics if the deals are still available. Dillon Brothers are a huge dealership and they have literally hundreds of motorcycles and they deal. (Message edited by electraglider_1997 on February 15, 2011) |

Electraglider 1997, please don't make the trip just for me. Even if the bikes were going for 3 grand, I cannot buy another. I have one daughter heading off to college this fall and another one in 4 years. I am very thankful to have my XT as it is! I just posted the original note hoping to help anyone who may be interested in an STT but was having trouble finding one. If you do head out there though, I wouldn't mind hearing what you find out, along with some pics? Thanks! |

Motorbike, It is here in town and no big trip. We go out there for something to do all the time. They have free hotdogs and chips every Saturday. You should see how many folks go to Dillon Brothers on Saturdays. In warmer weather the place is absolutely crowded with motorcycle lovers. They always have all the bikes they've sold that are waiting for pickup just inside the front doors and it is always around 10 bikes. They really move the bikes at Dillon Brothers. |

Hey Electra, take some pics of the TT's I think they have three of them in the 08 model. What do you think they'd take for one if I bargained for one? |

That S2 is lovely but you'd have to factor in a full engine/gearbox strip and rebuild with new seals........ not to mention the odd recall or two! It is probably worth more as an ornament than as a running motorcycle. |

I was at Bergdale H-D, Albert Lea, MN on Saturday, almost 1 year from my original post on this same bike. They still have the brand new 2007 XB12STT, for the same price, $10,290.00. I guess they really don't want to sell it do they?
