The Rizoma fluid tank that I want is not on the market yet. There are two currently available: http://www.speed-sports.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=675 and http://www.speed-sports.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=676 Do ya'll think it would be OK to use the smaller one (44mm vs. 47mm) as a temporary solution? |

If 44mm some how means the tank size (volume of fluid held) it should be alright. Since we only have one caliper to feed we don't need a big tank. |

The only time you should worry is when the pads get low, you might run out of fluid in the res. causing a failure. I say keep your eye on it and not to worry. |

Here is where we are stuck! Firebolt triple-tree: Lightning triple-tree: We are currently trying to determine the best way to mount the modules and the ignition lock without the stock brackets seen on the Lightning triple. Maybe Odie will add his insight up to this point. Please feel free to post any ideas or suggestions. |

The only way that I can see to do it at this point is this- if you look on the R tree there are two little nubs sticking straight down. These are threaded. I could make a bracket that bolts to the bottom of the nubs and then basically duplicates the S tree from there as far as the holes go for the ignition switch and module mounting. I don't think it will be quite as strong as the original but should work. It will take time to get it just right though. Now, I just got back from a ride with my new CR Low bars and love them!!! This is cheaper and quicker!! I know, I know, you want to do it the hard way.........J/K! Anyone else with knowledge of how Torqer did his please chime in.... |

Let's take the time and do it right. I will speak with Pete about it and we can go from there. I have posted a thread in the XBoard so maybe we can obtain some input from the brilliant minds of BadWeB!

Torqer, I wasn't removing any material on the outer edges other than the small thin line of "flashing" from the casting by sanding it. I agree with not wanting to weaken the piece at all. Good to hear you are doing well. Later, Odie |

I wasn't removing any material on the outer edges other than the small thin line of "flashing" from the casting by sanding it. that will clean it up nicely. |

Good point!! I want to ride yours (or at least sit on it) in March to see what it feels like. I'm real happy with my CR Lows like B-S. Still curious though.... |

Stealth, Check out a brake master for a R1. I went to the local shop and looked around and I think that will fit. |

Winter, The whole handgrip and everything are hanging off the bar end about 1/2 way. The stock master does not fit with this mod, Stealth is just crazy and rides with limp grips!!! |
