He does? I bet if you actually asked that question, he'd be all for Citizen's rights to hear arms in Iran. The theocratic dictatorship government has all the guns. And ships. Mines. Ballistic missiles. Not because they have a right, but because they have power. The Republic of the United States of America has ballistic missiles & ships & mine clearing gear & yes, lots of guns, because it has power. The difference is we chose leaders to wield it for us. Iranians didn't. Governments don't have rights. Your local porn store, cbd oil shop, & missile systems factory don't have rights. Citizens do. |

The theocratic dictatorship government has all the guns. And ships. Mines. Ballistic missiles. Not because they have a right, but because they have power. And that right there, is where the Left, and people like Governor Blackface, and Komrade Bernie, and Bloomberg, and all the other gun-grabbers, want us to be. They want the guns. Because they want the control. At any cost. Food for thought, from my Springfield forum: Niemöller is perhaps best remembered for the quotation: "First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me." We need to stop them. Now. Before it's too late (hopefully it's not already too late). First goes the 2A. Then, 1A. Because we won't be able to fight for it. Then...the rest, as they see fit, because they will have disarmed and silenced the masses. Whether you're a "gun person" or not...you need to pay attention to this stuff because after just a couple layers of these control mechanisms...they'll be after YOU. |

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/re marks-president-trump-world-economic-forum-davos-s witzerland/ But to embrace the possibilities of tomorrow, we must reject the perennial prophets of doom and their predictions of the apocalypse. They are the heirs of yesterday’s foolish fortune-tellers — and I have them and you have them, and we all have them, and they want to see us do badly, but we don’t let that happen. They predicted an overpopulation crisis in the 1960s, mass starvation in the ’70s, and an end of oil in the 1990s. These alarmists always demand the same thing: absolute power to dominate, transform, and control every aspect of our lives. We will never let radical socialists destroy our economy, wreck our country, or eradicate our liberty. America will always be the proud, strong, and unyielding bastion of freedom. |

Ha! Beat you! I couldn't find the transcript anywhere in a search, just the 2018 speech & commentary on how evil Trump is. So I went to the source. https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2020/01/tru mp-in-the-lions-den.php One of the more polite declarations of war on the aristocracy ever. |

Ha! Beat you! You sure did, not even close. It likely won't be the last time. One of the more polite declarations of war on the aristocracy ever. Indeed. One of the things that gives President Trump's words so much teeth is his unprecedented record of actual accomplishment, in just three short years into his presidency, in SPITE of the massive (and ongoing) resistance. When our former pResident spoke, no one believed a word he said. Empty chair. Zero record of actual accomplishment, both in his life, and during his pResidency. A mere fart in the wind. Even P45's harshest critics have to be impressed with America's rapid return to greatness under his leadership. Thank you, Mr. President. |

I found it interesting that at 2pm Eastern, AFTER the speech, I count not find a transcript or link to it, other than the White House site. But I did find dozens of rants about how evil the Orange Bad Man was, how insulting his bragging was, etc. ( fair enough! No despot enjoys being mocked, and many don't take being compared to someone more successful well. And...Americans ARE arrogant. You know, because we are right. ) Also page after page about Trump's heresy against the Climate Cult. How dare he! But praise... Crickets. Except from the usual biased sources. The kind of right wing nuts who prattle on about freedoms & responsibility & Individual advancement & national defense. |

The only problem is, his harshest critics see "greatness" as racist, oppressive, and evil. They honestly believe that economic growth hurts everyone but "privileged" white males, which is why it is so evil. Sad to say, but I think we've been too long without an actual conflict, and actual suffering, for people to have real things to worry about instead of all this made-up bullshit about LGBTQXYZ equality inclusion tolerance racism sexism fascist crap. This is what happens when a nation prospers, and the "ruling class" doesn't have absolute power over the people (and are greedy enough to want to take it). |

“ They honestly believe that economic growth hurts everyone but "privileged" white males, which is why it is so evil.“ I think they believe lifting people out of poverty reduces their voter base, and that is what has them so terrified. |
