I just read through the July issue(s) of Cycle World (& Motorcyclist) and did not find any comparison including the 1190RS. Have I misunderstood something? |

They showered the 1190RS with praise at the racetrack. The Ducati is apparently very good too with an awesome engine. The bar is REALLY high with these new bikes now! |

I didn't like how he said he wasn't trying his hardest on the EBR 1190 rs because it was so easy to hammer the brakes coming into the corners and it would be unfair to use them to the fullest. At the same time he is full throttle on straightaways with the 1000rr wouldn't you want to use every aspect of every bike to its full potential???? |

Honda's advertising budget is larger than EBR's? |

Honda's advertising budget for one month is larger than EBR's entire annual budget for everything. |

just read the article, they were pretty complimentary actually. they rated the bikes based on lap times (with e-boz behind the clip ons) and here's how the order they came in from slowest to fastest: MV agusta CBR1000 1190RS Panigale Aprillia RSV4 factory the EBR lost out on corner speed at the fastest turns due to being down on power. they actually said good things about the brakes although they did mistakenly think this was the first EBR/Buell with an 8 piston caliper. also the EBR came in weighing less than the panigale |

I called Jeremy Toye and asked him if he wanted to run a race on the Crotchrocket EBR 1190 RS. He is very interested, but committed for this year. We'll see what happens. He was very excited about the possibility of riding the bike in race trim. |

Talked with the boys at EBR several weeks ago and they said that they came in ahead of Team Yoshimura/Suzuki. They also said that Ducati hadnt put together a team yet. They were pretty happy at that point with the performance of the bike. Still working on making it a killer machine more than it already is. Considering all the money that goes into these other manufacturers, Buell is doing pretty great. My opinion. |

I'm sorry. I have blasphemed the sanctity of RoadRacing World magazine. But anyways, now that I have properly capitalized, any way we can see the article? |

Thanks for posting the Cycle World article. What would have put the comparo over the top if they spent some money on the Honda to make it the same price as the Aprilia and see how they stack up again. |
