hey all .. thought to post up a few pics of the new exhaust.. IM VERY HAPPY with the way it turned out ... did the method of dropping the swingarm .. wasnt too bad .. its got the mapped ECM from Dris .. however its throwing the Sidestand sys error so will need to connect with Dris .. For me its as loud as the Race pipe i had on the XB9 .. however with a sinister growl ..

Whats the reason for dropping your swing arm? |

was to get to the rear headers ... instead of rotating the engine ... overall not too difficult .. but access to the rear header bolts was tricky .. |

Looking for video too. I've seen one already comparing the slip on to the full system. From that one, the full was not much louder than the slip on. The Free Spirits appears to me from what I've seen, to be one of the quietest exhausts available. Not as quiet as the Torque Hammer, but not much louder. The full system is a lot of cheeseburgers, hell so is the slip on. Nice looking exhaust though. |

yeah i like deans work .. but by the time i got one out here (aust) .. and I always really digged the freesprits pipes for the 1125 .. I wasnt going for wasnt for dyno figures or PEAK power ... its for looks and sound .. Rode today to work .. and that rumble / smoother power is awesome .. Got the pipes from a guy in oz ..( pete aka Dakar pete ) .. he sold his 1125 to a mate and i got the pipes .. if it wasnt for this opportunity .. I prob would have got a RT of some sort .. I'll try to get a dyno run in to see what the end result was .. but SOP feels quite a bit better ... |

I know I'm going to be depressed if I ever hear them for real. Consolation is I might keep my license... |

I got to hear the Free Spirit's set on the Ronin 1125 last week. I was VERY disappointed in the sound. I'll stick to my Drummer. Z |

Z, what was the reason for the disappointment? |

hey zac let me know mate what you didnt like there is not too many 1125s out in oz that have change pipes but I've heard the hmf and drummer they are certainly nice sounding but a bit too much volume even the fs system could getene into trouble out here for being tooooo loud |

The FS exhaust just sounded "flat" compared to my Drummer. Not sure if it was a full system or slip-on. If it was a stereo, I'd turn the bass up. Zack |
