For everyone staying at C3 Central - Looks like I will not be making it down this weekend after all. Since I already paid for my spot, feel free to offer it to anyone that needs a dry place that may be at TWO. Not looking for any $, just don't want a dry roof to go to waste just because my situation changed. This kinda sucks. |

The promoters may want to consider sending up a "good will" keg and BBQ for those that traveled to attend the event. Jus saying.... |

Please keep in mind that if the roads are wet the Buell Coordinator will NOT let us ride the demo bikes. So it really doesn't matter if the truck is parked up there or not. |

I am working on a new date even as we speak. Please don't be angry. This is something beyond our control. |

So it really doesn't matter if the truck is parked up there or not. From the people I met last year at MB I would say that is a correct statement. |

Remember the real spirit of the event is to get a bunch of Buellers together for a weekend of fun and riding. And to show the non-buellers why they should become Buellers. The Buell Demo is only one part of that. And Stone Mountain HD/Buell have done a TREMENDOUS job providing a bit of extra fun with the demos. There is still plenty of fun to go around without the demos. Last year the only mileage my bike got was down to the local cell phone hot spot and back once... and I still had a great time just visiting with everyone, and eating the awesome food that TWO serves. |

Don't worry too much, it cleared up here in Huntsville about 10am, and has been great since. It looks like the clearing is heading your way fast! Should be there very shortly! |

I soaked up all I could when it came through here yesterday. Then it turned really nice. This morning I'm soaking it up again. just trying to do my part. Some ebayer sold the wrong sprocket. Some ebayer must have bought one too!. That's aggravating, but at least you've had practice now. |

I would be there if I could, rain or not! Marchbadness is not canceled in my eyes. Buell Demos are canceled at Marchbadness. No offense to Stone Mountain Buell, Celticrae, and those who put so much effort into the program. And from my past visits I want to thank you for those efforts. I really hope you guys can make the turn to Buelltoberfest! It too has been a great event, even though it has been sans demo bikes. Ya all have a great time! Really wish I was there.....rain or not! |

We left out in the rain headed north to give Squids' route a shot. Some great roads!!! Unfortunately it rained most of the way. We got to Tellico Plains, looked toward the Cherry Cola and decided to head back down towards TWO instead. On Hwy 60, about 15 miles from TWO we saw rain, fog and sun all at the same time. Sucks the Demos won't be here. But the Buellers are still here!! TWO will be serving dinner tonite. Look forward to meeting with those Buellers who can make it! |

We are down here at T.W.O. Jon. It is raining and we will prolly head out to Riders Hill and check it out, maybe head into Dongalonga and buy a new camera or something. We gotta get by C3 for a while later too. There are only a few of us hanging around T.W.O. |

GO PAINT! Glad to hear y'all got to do that ride. Lots of good stuff to see, neverending twisties, not seen a squid yet on that route. (Don't tell any ricers... ) As much as we love to ride with our hair on fire, can't do that in the rain- makes you slow down, take it easy, focus on the road and your techniques, plus the big bonus of just enjoying the world we're riding thru. Sometimes the full burn runs I've done with youns (and other skilled riders) get me thinking I've missed just <seeing> lots of good stuff. A good rain ride can be relaxing- just trust your tires, your bike, your rainsuit, and your skills at a slower overall speed, and getting wet on a bike can be GREAT fun! Makes me look forward to getting my old Shovelhead back in a couple of weeks! (Riding the shovel slow, NOT in the rain, that is...) +1, Vern- sure would be fun to hang around TWO yukking it up, even in the rain, with some special sauce and Ben-Gay- long as my tent stayed waterproofed... a trip to Suches is about a lot more than riding like bats outta hell anyway. The Stone Mtn folks were smart to cancel- no need to waste resources, let the Buell demo guy driving the truck have a little rest. Keep on keepin on, vacationers!!! Have fun, don't catch a cold. Great dinner last night, the line wasn't bad for once, lol! It was worth riding in the rain just to have dinner and hang out with some on the cool folks from the Bad Web. Made it home around 11:30, what a ride home. Wish I was coming up tomorrow but I can't pass up the race at TGP. I'm a adrenalin junkie I'll be seeing you soon Paint_shaker at JGP ,Roebling, the Road Atlanta. Smoke, I'll try to make it down for your Jennings race. I'm glad you finally are going racing. I've always enjoyed sharing the track with you, you be fast...and smooth! BTW, Good seeing the hard core Bad Weather Bikers at T.W.O Ya'll have fun, ride safe (Message edited by shred on March 28, 2009) |

No rain from noon till dusk roads were drying. Tomorrow should be dry. Kinda interesting going around the loop and not seeing any other bikes. Tonight: Fontana race on speed @ the cabin. It has been fun for the few of us who have stuck it out. |
