Not a 1125R but still fun Need I say more!! Introducing Bebe, (I'l let you guess how I came up with that name, it involves a rabbit and Buell...) a 2008 VW Rabbit. First brand new car EVER!! Check out the VW logo in the headlight, there is a ton of detail on this car for it's price and available standard options Every car should come with this! (or a 6 speed ) Pleaty of room in the back. I can hold all my hockey gear no prob with the rear seats down. The only option on the car I got were the floor mats Gotta rep C3 BABY A rabbit in a Rabbit isn't that like a Paradox?? I actually got her a few weeks ago but the day after is snowed 8 inches so she has been dirty, this was the first nice day I had off and was able to give her a bath... |

1 needed a car, mine was broke and well, self explanitory. 2 I'm not a fan of diesel tech, the price is thru the roof (4.40 a gal and the MPG vs gas and the price of gas was not a super huge benifit) and the cold winters, well that is also self explanitory Plus with teh 5 cyl I still have a TON of tourqe (170 HP 179tq) |

I miss my V-Dub. I am hotly anticipating the Jetta Sportwagon TDI. That thing is bad ass! Cool car Spidey, and it doesn't clash with pink. |

A great car for a great price. I think you'll enjoy it. My wife is considering a rabbit when her TDI Jetta wears out. We figure it's good for at least 250k, and it's at 120k now. With the extra cost for the diesel option, and the cost of diesel, you will probably spend less money in the long run by going with the standard rabbit. Reminds of a statement I once heard. The most efficient (energy and $$$$) car is the one you already own. |

A buddy of mine just got nearly the exact same ride as yours. He loves the car and he's currently shopping for a rim/tire package to finish off the look. I love the fact that they brought back the Rabbit name. I wish I had never sold my '83 Rabbit GTI. I hope yours gives the the same fun experience my old car gave me. I flat out ABUSED it for almost 100,000 miles and all it ever needed was a clutch and a fuel pump relay. I'm a big fan of VW. Just looking at that shifter brings back memories... 1... REV! Drop clutch!RED-LINE 2! RED-LINE 3! RED-LINE! 4! RED-LINE 5. Congratulations! Bill |

Bill0351 remember when a VW GTI/Scirocco with 130HP was good for 7 sec 0-60 times. I used to surprise the snot out of the late-80's smogged out "muscle" cars when I'd smoke them off the line. I've had 2 GTIs a 16V Scirocco, and now the TDI. Good dependable cars. |

That's a rabbit in the car? I thought it was a kid goat with really short legs. |

Hey there JLB, I totally remember how that GTI would surprise people off the line. Then it would get them again in the curves. There were plenty of cars that could beat it, but nobody had more fun than me trying. I guess that car reminds me of my M2 in a way. The engine was buzzy and a little harsh. It was elemental and raw. There was nothing on the car that didn't belong there or serve a purpose. With the "turbo" muffler in place of the stocker, it had a really sweet sound too. I wonder how many people who like Buells also have a history with VW. Bill |

LOL, I remember the scirocco shaking at idle just like a Buell (well maybe not that bad but close). The stock exhaust note was sweet at 7k rpm. Unless the car I was racing from stoplight to stoplight was worked, I pretty much ate all the stock cars of the day in my 87 scirocco. (DISCLAIMER: 5.0 'stangs and Buick GNXs excepted) It had wicked torque steer though. Some bastard stole it around '91 I think. Not mine but very similar:

What happened to the red Dodge? When you get it running again why don't you bring it to my house and we can go deer hunting? The Little Kid got one with the Barbie car last month and I am running out of venison. Nice ride, be careful down there in the burbs. Recycled Jacks up in Pontiac has lots of tire/rim take offs for VWs |

I hope you didnt buy the rabbit (the animal version) just for the car LOL no had the rabbit (animal) for almost a year now. BUT A year before getting the rabbit (animal) they reintroduced the Rabbit (car). That is when I decided that it, the Rabbit(car) was going to be my next car, when I went to get a new one...

Nice! I took a long, hard look at a variety of VWs when I was shopping last year, but fell in love with my 3. The Golfs, Rabbits, and Jettas are all bitchin' little cars. VW knows how to make 'em. =D |

Sweet, I've got a deposit on the TDI Jetta Sportwagen, ( 41 of 70 at that dealer ) but wee Thunder Bunnies appeal to my Euro toy attitude. I think I'll go test ride a GTI........ |

Obvious FAKE post, if ever I have seen one. Evidence: 1. No spidey sticker on vehicle. 2. No pink thong on wabbit. Am I right, my brothers?

Well, since no one else has fancied a guess, I'm going to guess you've named her after this person.
If not you should have! Maybe the next one can be named after her daughter, schwiing. |

1. No spidey sticker on vehicle. Haven't found the right one for her yet :-P 2. No pink thong on wabbit. The little wabbit was trying to eat the thong and the big wabbit would lift up her leg to get it on, she like to go sans panties, she's a dirty girl Kyrocket, I can;t really tell casue of the size of the pic but if that is Liv's mom they yes you are correct... |
