Thanks guys, Very much appreciated, I got the tank decals a while back on fleabay from American Torque. I emailed him to see if he had more..he does not. They were originally slated to go on my truck. But I don't have a tank figured out for the PMX build so I figured I would just shoot this one black for now so I could swap on the PMX. I had to let everyone know it was a BUELL & AMERICAN!!!! I stole the surviving signal lights from this bike for the PMX but I must say, I like these much better, MY S2 is also being fitted with them. They are bright, the stalks don't crack when you look at them the wrong way, easy to find, and I think they look pretty darn good also. A few of the girls chattin…. The original shock is still out along with a couple others being rebuilt, the guy blew out his knee so he is out of commission for a while, I'm in no rush this shock works fine. PMX motor is out "again" & sub assemblies have begun to be assembled. BUT WAIT….. THERE'S MORE….. A 91 RS IS ON THE WAY HOME…..

Man, I tell ya what, the lines on the RSS really keep growing on me. So much so it's giving me bad thoughts. I have to stop looking in this thread! |

I give up F'n pics... Maybe it's the meds... probably not (Message edited by k12pilot on February 01, 2014) |

That's about the lamest excuse I recall seeing in a while . . . be a man . . .get off your ass and restore those Buells. If . . . I were going to kick your ass . . . I'm thinking now would be the time to do it ?. . . . while both hands are wrapped in foam ! |

Hahahaha . . . . heal quickly and let me know if you need anything. This is shaping up to be a fun year for bikes. In fact, I think the next 4 days could be very interesting. |

A blue RS in EASYRIDER MAG ( of all places - my roommate was a biker ) is where I first saw the RS1200. My M2 is a poor sub but still fills part of my desire for the most glamorous US bike of all time. I might hit my sign shop buddy up about the decals, see what he can do. My next SUV will say American Performance Motorcycles on the back glass (a minor shot at Wandell of HD) still love the RS/RSS lines more than any other! thx all for this post! |

Could you take a close-up of the front engine mount? I'm just curious as to what they used back then. |

Wow. So even that long ago, it was a cast piece. I just thought that due to the low volume, it would have been more expedient to mill stuff out. |
