Oil is leaking through the oil filler cap, on cold start, and from some of the hose connections. Is it the bad pump or oil too thick? It's pretty cold outside, around 48, when I start the bike.

I'd say a cloged pcv valve on top of the head is the problem - pressurizing the system.

Take off tank cover.
Take off tank.
Pull PCV valve & grommet out of the top of the engine.
clean the valve out (It's a "one way" thing)
Replace grommet.
Replace valve.
It's fairly easy.
If I can do it, anyone can.

Not to just state the obvious, but the oil isnt overfilled is it? The oil level on a Blast can show empty (as in you can see the frame is dry) even if the Blast has set for only a week with out running. It can take at minimum a half hour of riding for the level to go from bone dry to the full mark on the dipstick. The capacity is only 2.25qts and it will only take 1.5 qts during a normal oil change.
Just making sure.....

Looks like it was overfilled. I drained a couple of ounces and it doesn't leak anymore.

LOL - twice now I have had bugs crawl up and die in my primary hose vent - clogging it and pressurizing my primary causing leaks - so tempted to put an old air filter from my carb and clamp it to the end of the line after I blow it out again and re-fix the minor leaks it caused once again - sigh - figured I'd do a full oil change, going to try the Bosch filter this time since they where out of Mobil one filters, though I picked up two 5 quart 15/50 Mobil one jugs for the occasion, and to do the CR as well, when I do its brakes.

FOR "SAFETY"the transmission breather should be run to a catch container so oil will never get on the rear tire !!!

"AND" this also cures the bug problem !!!
