Seems as if everybody else either ...

#1 ... has no questions or comments about their BLAST ... or ...

#2 ... is out riding and has no reason to post ... or ...

#3 ... is computer illiterate and don't know how to post ...

... awfully quiet around here recently ...

LOL - riding season is like that. I Just got the Daily rider tuned in with its generic 4" suppertrapp - had to add 6 more discs to get it to perform like the old did at 12 discs - must be the shape difference - megaphone vs straight style can.
Sounds good and the gain back is great - happy again! Waiting for the new fairing to show - then it will be on to clip-ons, bar-end weights, etc - its always gonna be something, Acerbis came out with a slick new LED clear rear light that I'm sure will hook up - Though I might have to hit American Sport Bike up for the led adaptor - stuffs all ordered just waiting on delivery - sigh - the fairing will be last.

Dual reply:

#2 - Lucky enough to live where "it's Happy Hour Every Day, All Day" just wish I could ride every day all day. My weekends though, just try and find me

#1 - I was always told if I didn't have something nice to say, don't say anything. I nearly messed up on the main page when 2hrcommute posted about his "TPS" problem. Instantly the scene from Office Space came to mind with the boss Lumberg going on and on…”did you get the memo? regarding a new cover sheet for the TPS reports and I nearly posted a link to that clip, laughter is the best medicine they say. Then luckily I realized how insensitive that would have been, I know I’d be a total basket case if my bike were not running properly. People come here for help, not movie clips. Reality check, didn’t have the tech info, didn’t post, just kept my little Office Space dialogue in my brain where it belonged, with all those other little voices that keep saying “you must go ride, you must go ride”.

Themagster,

What is your gas mileage when traveling 70 to 75 mph consistently?

I'm not The Magster but a constant 70-75 over 60-100 miles gives me about 42 MPG. (I weigh 200 Lbs w/gear. have a Jardine RT1 exhaust, an aftermarket air filter setup, deleted airbox, rejetted to 45/170 & a "heavy throttle hand".)
I would post more often but I generally have nothing to add to the threads on the board.

2hrcommute - posted to main page, you probably already saw it. I am pretty happy with how far I can go. Rode to St. Augustine a couple months ago with some dude on a Sportster and he wanted to stop for fuel every 70 miles. About killed me. I like to get at least 100 miles before any stop, but when you ride with others, you do as they do...

I can get 60-75 mpg if i keep my speed around 45 -55 mph. but the big key is to maintain the same speed.

60 to 63 in the city. 70 mpg at 60 mph and 60 mpg @ 65. At 75 it drops to 50 to 55 mpg.

Bone stock Blast.
