I feel your Ford pain, my friend. Matter 'o fact, I think we may have the exact same track record... about 10 times in a year and a half. However, some of it has been fixed... it's just that other stuff keeps cropping up. I've been to the local guys 3 times now for what I believe is a failing strut mount, but I can't even convince the douche canoes to look under the car. I point out the popping sound to the tech, he admits something's amiss, and then they call me the next day and say they couldn't reproduce the sound, so they didn't look at anything. F'n worthless. I've contacted Ford corporate about it, and they told me to find another dealer! I have to waste MY gas and time driving to another city because Ford won't jack these local guys up? Sheesh!

I have one word for you...."Picket"....make a legible sign that displays your grievance....and picket the establishment...eventually, you will get a response....

Warranty stuff pays little...so it tends to get swept under the carpet whenever possible....especially in this economy...it's the old "if I have enough hoops to jump thru, the customer will give up"...

I have done it...more than once...it always worked out to my benefit...the last thing any dealership needs, especially now..is for prospective customers to have doubts about the integrity...

Just make sure you picket on public property or you could end up with a trespassing charge...

Had one guy in my town that stuck HUGE yellow signs on the side of his car that said "I bought this LEMON from SILVER CITY DODGE"

Funniest thing I have seen in a while. Just an idea............

What we NEED is to get Court a consulting job over at GM and Ford. THEN we'd get some stuff taken care of!

I just bought 8 spark plugs for my F-150. They cost TWELVE DOLLARS A PIECE!!! Thats a cost of $101 out the door! I also had to wait NINE DAYS to get said spark plugs for my AMERICAN MADE truck.

Hang in there, buddy. There's plenty of good riding weather coming up.

The Hemi engine for dodge has 16 plugs cause there is a plug for the intake and exhaust. Has something to do with the combustion chamber and the way its designed. Also you do not have to buy plugs from Ford. Places like Auto Zone and other part stores do carry OEM plugs in stock(just have to ask). Also the worse part about the Hemi is Dodge requires replacement of plugs every 30K.

Yeah, but if you only have to change the plugs every 100,000mi., $100 isn't bad.

"Well hell man... they wrote down and circled the source of the problem and then stuck it on the grill for ya! What else could you ask for?"

LOL, too true. Aside from a bare bones hand-me-down Saturn, the Mustang is my first "modern" American car. It is certainly my last Ford. Don't get me wrong, the Ford engineers did an AMAZING job, but the actual manufacturers dropped the ball, and the dealerships have been nothing but a pain in the ass.

My wife has an '06 Tuscon which has needed nothing but standard maintenance, and I'm impressed time and again with how well the loacl Hyundai dealership has treated us. We didn't even buy it from them. Heck, they'll come to my wife's workplace to pick it up for oil changes! That's the kind of service that builds loyalty, and if we ever need another car, you can guess who we'll be doing business with.

Hey now...I had a 03' F-150 standard cab up until a year ago. Got rid of it because I needed more room. Put close to 100k on it and the only issue I ever had was the o2 sensor going out.

They won't lemon the car? Seems to me if the car was in the shop that many times there is obviously a serious issue.
