Hopefully next year everything will be back to "normal" Buelltoberfest? It's at T.W.O. also, and just as much fun if not ever better. My best to the bride to be. | ||

Speaking of Buelltoberfest, I need to turn in my vacation calender within four weeks. First weekend in October ? I hate it that I will miss the Badness this year, but we have plans on making it down in October. | ||

Too late! Wedding/reception/honeymoon paid for, rings bought, invitations sent, yadda yadda. I plan on painting "Just Married!" on the back of the Uly's top box to go out that evening, though. I'm still hoping to get a longer ride in this year, but it will likely be either east to visit a friend in northern Virginia and to take in the Smithsonian, or south into northern Kentucky for some cave-crawling with my cousin (if I can convince him that 600mi in a day on his Sportster followed by 8 hours of cramped exertion a couple hundred feet below ground level and another 600mi return trip isn't too much for him). | ||

I just figured out I'll be presenting at a conference that weekend, so I can't go. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Next year I'll be up in NY and definitely won't be able to make it. | ||

The TWO site say's they open for the season on the 27th, what if I were to arive on the 26th ? Do you think they would turn me away ? How about another campground I could crash at on the 26th, anybody know of one close by that doesn't suck ? | ||

I was there early last year, no issues with setting up early. I just helped set up and all was good. | ||

+1 on getting there a day early. My plan: Set up camp, then roll to Dalhonega's Wallyworld to get foodstuffs and camp supplies. Food at TWO is great, but self-reliance is best. Eat cheap at yer campsite and 1 meal a day at the lodge, to catch it all. Lots of good folks congregating for meals at the main mealhouse, but it's not a sure thing to get fed if you're late. Being on time for breffix/lunch/dinner is a good thing if you want to be fed in a timely manner. My 2cents | ||

Youn's talking about the NEW Dales? Before Buelltoberfest, several folks thought they may be antagonistic towards bikers- I must say that each time I went there, the folks working were fine and friendly. Will check them out- still gonna be good for breffix at the campsite. | ||

Dale's didn't have breakfast last time in town (October) but they were just trying to refill the store. | ||
