I know there are about 1,000 different threads on Homecoming. Who's planning on attending any or all events? Also, I sure hope someone lights a fire under Buells @ss to get this information out to Owners that don't use the Badweb. I hope they're smart enough to post it on their site and include it in the next Fuell issue. But who knows when that will be sent out. So anyway, who's gonna be there!!??  | ||

As far as I know, the Hotel thing is still up in the air. So far I give Buell a HUGE  for the way this is being handled. Or mishandled in this case. Great idea on Hotel/Motel room sharing. | ||

I just looked at Hotel.com and HOLY CRAP! I punched in East Troy. Showed Hotels all around the area. The prices? All I can say is I'm staying at a 5 Star Resort in Sedona Arizona this summer for about the same price as most of the Hotels listed around East Troy. And I'm not talking about the ones in Lake Geneva. A Hotel should have been blocked out MONTHS ago. All I can say is good luck. If you are planning on coming, I'd take the bull by the horns and book a room now. The longer you wait, the less fair priced rooms will be left!  | ||

I can get hotel in Racine. Crusty and Spiderman are as many other here know my area some. I found is low as 62 bucks a night to 119.00. 40 minutes from Hal's, 40 minutes from factory and 1 hour 20 minutes from Road America. Let me know. Steve if this works for you. I can get everyone located just off the interstate on HWY 20. | ||

Buell.com sez "full details coming soon" - maybe someone is building a motel for us.  Last time I did a search, there was NOTHING available <$175/nite. If there is a place (or a few places close together), could someone in the area approach them re. hosting the out-of-town folks, preferably with a healthy discount. No offense intended but Buell/Brag/HOG/whoever has dropped the ball on this. I can't think about going with nothing but booked/unavailable on the other end. I'm having my girlfriend look into rooms at local Marriot hotels in the Brookfield/Waukesha area (close to Hal's) as we speak. I'll post more as I know it. | ||

Ok, There are some rooms available in the waukesha/brookfield area for those interested. These would be at the following... The Courtyard Brookfield Townplace Suites Brookfield Milwaukee Marriott West in Waukesha The Residence Inn Downtown Milwaukee My girlfriend tried getting the friends rate for you guys, but she can't due to this being on a Holiday weekend and Milwaukee's Summerfest is going on. She's an accountant for Marriot. If you're interested in seeing Summerfest, try the Residence Inn in Milwaukee, you'd be just about in walking distance. BOOK NOW!!! There are tons of hotels near my place (South side of Milwaukee, near all the burbs) between Howell Ave. and 27th St. .. .. all of which are 5 minutes or less off I-94, (lots of them in this area because the airport is right here) 15-20 minute ride to Hal's in most cases. Do a search for hotel's within 5 miles of zip code 53221 .. willing to bet there will be quite a few cheap ones.. My garage is also avalable to those in need on the trip in, hotels probably won't make the friendlest place to work on your bike...
